M's first scene
🕑 Added 2022-05-04 17:21:03 +0000 UTCMy first attempt at grayscale painting. I really liked the result, so maybe I'll always draw this way from now on. At least it allows me to improve faster.
While many of you are still waiting for an update (don't die, there are a few days left). I'll voice a couple of my thoughts on the next update. Text wall incoming.
With the concept of lymph, I was finally able to connect a lot of previously unrelated parts of the game. I gave meaning to the fact that the protagonist must have sex, I created space for ability development (for now, the only thing you can do with lymph is spend to increase spell slots, but there will be more in the future). I'm not going to make this system complicated, but rather simple and accessible. And what's more, for the next update I'm going to change the relationship system a bit, tying it to lymph and increasing the connection between all these aspects of the game even more.
So, a lot of you may have been blown away by Patricia and I just now decided to return to her event to see that it's half broken and half very challenging. I've already changed that event, as I will change the following ones as well, so that you will have almost zero chance of not seeing the scene, but that doesn't mean that your choices won't matter at all. Quite the opposite, depending on your lines and relationship with the characters, you will have extra lines in your dialogues and the ability to see additional scenes or take additional actions in existing scenes.
So, for example, in the scene with M above, depending on your relationship with her, you may be able to allow yourself some lewdness, such as slapping her or, if she trusts you really much, choking her a bit. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) What's more, at the end of each event, when you earn lymph, you'll receive a bonus that directly depends on your relationship.
Thus, the game will not punish you if you just skipped dialogues and said nonsense, but at the same time will generously reward you for your verbal deeds with a lot of lymph and a lot of bonus lewds. (or sometimes even with full bonus events).
I also decided to do this.
This is the thing that probably the most people asked for, the ability to change the protagonist's name.
Just in case you thought it was easy and I need to add one plugin, unfortunately not. For the sake of this feature I need to revise and edit all the dialogues in the game, all of them. It's hours of work, but if I won't do it now, it'll be even worse, so here I go. You don't have to start the game all over again, I'll add an option to the mirror room.
All I said refers to the next update, not the one that will be available the other day. And there's probably everything, I will not burden you more with all the technical stuff, I will just say that I am glad as I manage to develop the game not only in terms of content, but also in terms of mechanics.
Have a good day.
