Ant-Man and the Wasp (Full Length Reaction)
🕑 Added 2023-10-30 18:00:04 +0000 UTCThis was such a lighthearted movie in comparison to the previous MCU Avenger: Infinity War film. We got to meet Ghost, who threw me for a loop. I was so ready to hate her as a villain, but felt so badly for her by the end of this film. I wouldn't wish her life or the pain she's experienced on anyone.
The ending of this movie was great! It was a really uplifting film... until the first post credit scene changed EVERYTHING! I didn't see that coming a mile away. There are two post credit scenes in this movie, so make sure you don't miss them. They are epic!
I'm curious to know what your thoughts are about this film? When Marvel announced that this was the next film after Infinity War, what was your reaction?

Dearest Jax, so, when you get through Capt Marvel…… just absolutely give your honest reaction. You live in LA, we have no doubt you’re aware of the, shall we say…… behind the scenes…….. uh….. shall we call them ‘politics’?……. Of the MCU by this time in its existence. If you really like Capt Marvel…..fantastic. There are folks out there who, sort of, divide……. Maybe?……of this one. What I’m saying is, don’t feel you HAVE to like everything the MCU offers just because it’s the MCU. I hope you enjoy it.

I like both movies and I think it adds a lot of suspense having the time in between! Agree they deserve better than to be just seen as stepping stones.

Ha she is super salty about Infinity War. Don't worry everyone had that experience after watching it. The craziest part was the absolute silence in the theater after the credits. No one Moved from their seats and rushed out. It was bizarre.

Are you watching Disney+ from EU? I know there is sync issues as EU streaming often runs on higher fps, causing the runtime to be shorter (and out of sync of american versions) I always have to get my copies from... other sources or adjust the speed in VLC while trying to sync with most reactors because of this, otherwise I'm always a few seconds faster after a while. You can adjust the youtube speed by a specific value by opening the browser console (F12) and input $('video').playbackRate = 1.0018 (you may have to adjust the 1.xxxx value depending on the version you are watching.

This is one of Jax’s BEST wrap ups!!!! I can’t be the only person who finds as she completely enters whatever world is in front of her just utterly adorable! She is 100% a thinker. You give her the ‘rules’ of whatever world you want and BOOM, she’s IN that world trying to figure stuff out!

LOVE both Ant-Man movies. Pretty much top 10, if not top 5, of the OG MCU Run (Phases 1 through 3). Saw Infinity War in a packed Midnight Imax showing for my first viewing (worst theatre experience I've ever had unfortunately) and NEVER, not for one second bought their ''deaths'' as they were falling and turning to dust (I have too much movie and comic book knowledge and experience)... Like literally could not stop telling myself; ''there's no way, YOU know better than this'' over, and over, and over, as they fell......... So, I reeeally did not care that Endgame wasn't immediately next up, and was pretty much rewarded for that, since Ant-Man And The Wasp did, in fact, slap HARD, if not as hard as 2015 Ant-Man, AND tie up pretty nicely/neatly to Infinity War in the end on top of that....

Not sure if you've been told or not. but. For Endgame, keep doing what you've been doing with credits. They do some special things to celebrate the journey and it helps bring home just how epic and interconnected all the MCU has been thus far.

Antman and the Wasp and Captain Marvel are both perfectly fine movies, and fun entries into the MCU. Unfortunately they fall in that awkward time between Infinity War and Endgame where people just want to fucking get to Endgame. When these movies came out there was a full year between Avengers 3 and 4. And Antman and Captain Marvel were view as, even before release, just set-up for Endgame, and I think they deserve better. They're perfectly fine as they are movies and aren't just stepping stones to Endgame. Keep up the good work Jax! TV show poll when?

It's a good movie. They had announced this movie at the same time they announced Infinity War. I think, at least for me, that it felt a little out of place, but having watched it, the timing makes sense.
