I really like the balance between relatable, jaded and frustrating that you strike with Lindholm. And now we know she's part of a ~~coup plan~~ totally uninterested in politics.

Necromancers are all about body enhancement, it's just the steps in between that pit people off.

What's the point of having a minion if you can't take advantage of them. To be fair to Tabasi he also teaches her other stuff too and he doesn't actually know how to do body enhancement.

My prediction was that Mazar will be asked to help make more ammunition for the cannons. Ig it s suicide mission instead. All that and still no body enhancment xd. Atp there is more chance of her learning it from a necromancer than anybody else

The difficult thing with figuring it out herself is there's a decent chance of her killing/crippling herself experimenting, even if the technique isn't super hard to do once you have it right. Or at least that's what people tell her.

Ester the schema grunt. Tabasi, Lindholm, doesn't matter which master level magic user is teaching her, it's schema this, schema that. All schemas all the time.

Have to assume she's gonna teach her undead specific schemas. Mazar can't use that against the Republic even if she wanted to. I really want her to figure out the enhancement spell on her own though. It's been long enough and the magic can't be too difficult if every random mage can do it. Maybe the Eternal Queen will give her a special dispensation if she plays a major role in defeating an Archlich Camp.

I wonder with that offhand comment Lindholm made about those in command and the similarity to the schema she used on the envoy versus the killings in the capital if there is a coup being planned. Or she’s going to run for president!

Story of her Life: "I cannt teach you combat magic, but how about some Schemas? That is more appropriate because you are a woman/crownlicker/..." Atleast she improves with the variety of competent teachers in that regard.

I like this development. Frankly, watching months of siege followed by the necromancers withdrawal when relief arrives wouldn’t be great fun. But with the knowledge Lindstrom has this is a logical, albeit desperate, manoeuvre. And Ester doesn’t even have to be the main hero as that will be Lindholm, but will be vital.
