Some Changes to Our Tiers
🕑 Added 2023-08-14 15:05:45 +0000 UTCHi all,
We hope you’ve all been enjoying your time so far in The Dice Pool (splash!).
This update is to tell you two things:
- We’re making a few changes and additions to our Patreon tiers and their included perks
- If you are already a Patron the rewards you receive WILL NOT BE AFFECTED and you won’t have to do a thing (in fact, you’ll even receive a small bonus item). The only thing that will change is the name of your tier, which will now be called The Founders Club.
The changes:
YOUR NEW TIER: The Founder’s Club ($5/month)
- Limited to 25 members (everyone who's been with us from the beginning)
- Will Receive all of the perks of the new $10 tier for the discounted price of $5
- BONUS: Will receive a special Discord Tag available only to the first 25 backers of our Patreon as a special thank you for supporting us from the very beginning.
ADJUSTED TIER: Dipping a Toe ($5/month)
- Will not receive a monthly additional actual play podcast
- Will receive access to extended interviews
- Will Receive talk back episodes
- Will Receive Access to Patreon-exclusive Discord channels
NEW TIER: The Dice Pool ($10/month)
- Will Receive a monthly additional actual play podcast
- Will Receive all perks from lower tiers
Why are we doing this?
Simply put, releasing a bonus actual play podcast every month is a heavy lift and after some additional research we’ve decided that $10/month is a more realistic price to help us do this long term and continue to deliver podcasts of the highest quality.
Why make The Founder’s Club?
We are incredibly grateful to all of you who supported this show from the very beginning and we want to make sure you get everything that we promised when we started this venture (and a little bit extra) as we find our footing and set ourselves up for success. If we’ve done this right, you’ll likely not even notice the change except for the addition of a special tag on our Discord server that lets people know you’ve been with us from the start.
While we’re here, what’s coming down the pipeline?
July was our big launch with a ton of bonus content for Patrons (we hope you’ve enjoyed it so far)
In August you can expect the bonus actual play to come towards the end of the month.
Then in mid-September you are going to receive a truly outrageous amount of bonus content. Seriously, it will be borderline absurd amounts of stuff. We’ve got a big event planned in September and if you’re a member of this Patreon you’re going to question if we’ve lost our minds. Answer: We have. And we love it.
