Uploading Designer themes.
🕑 Added 2024-01-09 06:42:37 +0000 UTCToday I received 4 messages from individuals asking for more Designer theme repos. Unfortunately I don't have any other repos.
Download Theme Section (Repos)
Designer repo section was created so users could upload and control their themes. This is a different approach compared LockPlus. In LockPlus users could click a button to upload a theme. They had to upload it to save it. I could do this as I paid for a server that could handle this uploading. Therefore LockPlus had every theme, ever made, on a server public for everyone. This is not the case for Designer. I can't afford a server for Designer and this is why LockPlus was shut down anyway.
The Github repo is the way to go, but gives a big barrier to entry for users. Github is free, "easy" to use, and easy to pull themes from. With piracy the way it is and the community as small as it is, it's stupid to pay for a server for a tweak. I wish this wasn't the case, but it is what it is.
Current Situation
Most, if not all, users will not care to make a repo. On the off chance you do want to make a repo you can learn how HERE. Basically it's a simple Github repo with theme assets and a list of themes. I'm also here if you need assistance setting it up. You can view my repo here.
I can do the work for you
If you make a Designer theme and do want them on a repo, you can send them to me. I will add them to the Designer repo.
How to send themes
In Designer go to the settings and click Edit Themes. Find the theme you saved and tap hold. Then press Export Theme. This will export the theme to /var/mobile/Library/Designer/exportedthemes/ zip it and send to me with a screenshot. I'll handle the rest.
I will continue to make Designer themes. I do find it enjoyable, but keep in mind i'm a solo dev making the tweak/app that makes these themes and that is my priority.
