completed sprites december
🕑 Added 2024-01-16 20:20:15 +0000 UTCSorry for the wait! Two things, in case you're not in the discord:
1. Sprites are for the payment that goes through at the end of the month, so if you just joined this month, your call will be posted somewhere around the 28th.
2. Sprites might be changing a little soon. Not next call, but potentially the one after. They might have a slightly altered line art texture, and be at least slightly bigger overall. This is because:
a. The current ones can only be made in SAI 1 to be stylistically consistent. Which going forward has become a bit of an issue, as sai 1 doesn't run on my windows laptop properly, and means that I can only work on sprites in one environment.
b. The sizes of the sprites have been inconsistent their whole run, and I want to actually set parameters when redrawing them for size. When Tigerstar shows up in a scene, for example, I need to scale him up. It's a huge pain.
c. I originally made i spoil videos in 720p. They're now bigger. So the sprites take up less space and look odder when made larger.
d. I'm trying to move away from using Paint Tool Sai in general, as it's not got a lot of quality of life features I enjoy in other programs, as it's from 2006.
I did a poll on discord to see if people would want the reward sprites to be done in the new style as well, and by and large people did. So when i make that change, these will change a bit as well.
