The way that I see Edas curse is sort of like an incurable disorder. Like depression or anxiety, something that can absolutely be helped with medication, but not often fully cured. The scene where Gwen takes away all the potions in the house is honestly horrifying. Imagine someone hiding your emergency medication when you're in the middle of having an episode! Very scary.
