If you're on a mac, .rar files can be opened with The Unarchiver (free).
Oh, it's beacause it's a compressed file, did you try Winrar? even some other program that decompresses will do. Let me know!

It is not in a pdf format but RAR so adobe does not open it.
Hello Tina, you can find links to GP tabs on the description of every video. You can open those files with Guitar pro or Go Playalong. Also, for opening PDFs you just have to download adobe reader
