btw Michael I think I probably know why Haschwalth betrayed Bazz B because you mentioned Young Haschwalth's bruises. I think it was probably his uncle who abused him. And then Yhwach killed his uncle. judging from the bruises on his body, he was probably abused for long years. So this led to Yhwach killing Haschwalth's uncle as if Yhwach was Haschwalth's benefactor ...... so I can understand that ...... but Yhwach killed everyone Bazz cared about. People ...... This still sucks ..... This situation causes the balance of Haschwalth's scales to be off, one side is a friend, the other side is a benefactor

Honestly, Bazz B is a flawed character. He always had an ego and arrogance to him that ended up being his downfall. He always looked down on Haschwalth with pity for being weaker than him. When Yhwach killed Bazz B’s entire clan, while his revenge is justified, he always pushed that revenge into Haschwalth. If anything, Haschwalth is grateful to Yhwach for killing his abusive uncle, eventually giving him an advisory position, and seeing the powers in him that he doesn’t see in himself. Not even Bazz B ever thought of Haschwalth as useful to his plans to kill Yhwach. Bazz B’s betrayal has always been him thinking that Haschwalth owes him for his kindness and friendship. But Haschwalth has always been kind (ish) to Bazz B. He never fought him until it was threatening Yhwach. He protect him from Hubert. Even at the end of their fight, killing him really took a toll on him.
