Not really understanding how some people can call Lille Barro's second form of Jilliel funny lol. To me that form is just bizarre and scary at the same time, especially when you consider his appearance is inspired by a Cherubim angel from the Abrahamic religions. Also that new ost was straight fire! I thought it sounded like an Elden Ring boss fight too lol.

This was one of Bleach’s most controversial fights back in the day and likely still is based on some reactions I’ve seen of this episode. Many people didn’t like how much of a deus ex machina Nanao’s family zanpakuto was for this fight. As faithfully done this was and how they didn’t change anything, I think the animation team did do a lot to make Nanao and Shunsui’s relationship feel genuine more than the manga. Just an FYU, the last few episodes after Renji’s fight with Uryu has been almost 100% been faithfully translated from the manga, but next two weeks is going to hopefully have some insane stuff with high expectations of a lot of new content. Also, not sure if you know, but (based on leakers) Dec 28 is going be two episodes (39 and 40). A lot exciting stuff about to happen for anime only watchers and manga readers.
