The type of stories that need 24 episodes are the ones that are light novels regardless of whether they are Isekai, Seinen, or any other genre. That’s one of the issues with Classroom of the Elite, because it’s both seinen and a light novel then it definitely needs 24 episodes

It’s hard for an anime to have 24 episodes Michael, I’m sure a lot of people would love it. But if I were to think as an animation studio I would opt for 12 episode season especially if it the story is an action anime and a manga. More episodes mean less money per episode. You can see that actually with an anime like Demon Slayer, the jump in quality between the S1 and S2 is pretty significant.
