I only ask that cause I have a follow up, if you are caught up you know that slime can get a little boring sometimes with the whole meetings that they have, and yes while it is " boring", I would say that slime is probably the best adapted light novel series, mushoku is up there. Light novel are really hard to adapt, and that is because they are always written from the point of view of the main character, there is always internal monologue, most of the times animes will cut out some of that monologue or they will cut out the world building and only leave the important stuff. However for slime that is different, yes they chip stuff here and there but it doesn't take away from Rimuru's plans are and his character. Also I think slime is also the only true Isekai's out there, and encompasses all what an isekai should be.

Ok maybe I’ll read it one day, I was not too into the Slime anime so I didn’t try to read the ln, part of the reason I like Mushoku is because it doesn’t feel much like isekai cuz I’m not so into isekai

I read the mushoku light novel, I am on volume 17 right now, and it's good don't get me wrong but it's not Slime light novel. That thing is on a different level

hate to disagree with you there brother, but the best Isekai especially light novel is by far Slime, it's not even close when it comes to the light novel. Especially next season, it's going to be contender for anime of the year for multiple seasons to come

I read the light novel that’s why I know the story is PEAK, I just hope the anime does it justice adapting the rest of it, so far it’s been pretty good like a B+, but the story is just getting started in the anime. Ppl like Re:zero a lot too, but for the isekai genre I think Mushoku is the best.

By the way michael，If you have to choose a reaction between Mushoku Tensei and Slime, I personally would say that you should prefer Mushoku Tensei. because the second half of Slime Season 3 was really boring for me 🥱. There were some boring bits in there that made you want to go to sleep that.So……For slime, you can wait for season 4 to come out and do it！
