Looks really good :3 This is really nice for me because I'm a chemistry novice at best x3

BenTx

Looks Like a good Idea, how did No other Chem YouTuber think of that?

Jamie Dombroski

Love it! These will really help me haha

Rick Thompson

I like it. Only thing I can think of is to put the molecules into their own circles to differentiate them from each other.

Chris Frey

oh alright, yea I don't know about the mechanism, but if it is such a weird thing just let it be, it's fine. :)

Mr Green

Thanks! oh yeah I tend to forget about it being diatomic lol. I've tried looking into how TCCA and HCL react, but it seems really complicated with nucleophiles and resonance structure effects. I think it's a bit beyond the scope of my video 😅. I've read that the exact reaction mechanism is unknown, so while it could be interesting to delve into, it wouldn't really answer anything for certain unfortunately. But I'll definitely try to fix that lonely Bromine haha

Travis Hyyppä

Love it! It helps this nonchemist link what's going on chemically with what's going on in the physical glassy bubbly bits. The anthropomorphism and wants and needs of the molecules, like the bromine screaming in reverse when it came back, made everything click for me.

Chris Frey

I really like it, maybe correct that elemental bromine is Br2 at about 1:15 and onwards but otherwise it is really helpful! Perhaps you can get a bit more specific how TCCA and HCl can generate clorine gas.

LowKeyDokiDoki

It's great! Makes it way easier to understand what's happening and actually see how each step of the process leads into the next!

andy MACKAY

Yup, I really like that.

Willzone02

Looks great! and helps to follow, and visualize what's happening.
