Totally understandable given how dire the situation was he didn’t have time to think about Eri potentially being able to resort his ability after the fact of him being hit with the injection

Also in why the students weren't added in the report is probably because of optics. It would look bad if they willingly put children in harms way especially how disastrous the operation was. They are going for deniability.

The reason he cut his leg off was so that he could still continue using his quirk at the moment. He couldn't allow shigaraki even a second with the ability to use decay.

Thank you so much for the context Xeno I just went back the episode where she was talking to Momo before the call cut off and I saw the guy with gas mask dive at her I can’t believe it😭😭😭💔💔💔

Just wanted to give some context, but when Midnight hit the ground, there were some Liberation Front members (one with a gas mask) that dove in to finish her off :(
