"Kon" is the Japanese onomatopoeia (sound effect) for a fox's yelping. It's like Aki makes a fox call to trigger his contract, and also in the previous opening there were small breaks in the insane instrumentals to hear the singer calmly say "Kon", which happens twice. Neat detail IMO. Also, yes, Denji truly earned this. What a champ.
