🕑 Added 2020-05-08 11:10:40 +0000 UTCHi guys, I've noticed three annoying bugs that I've actually fixed and ready for a 1.5.1 build. I'll issue this over the next day or so as I wanted to throw in some additional features whilst I'm doing it.
Bugs that are particularly annoying (from my high standard!)
1. Seems that thumbnails of tags are being locked on occassions by the file system, therefore if you update the portrait or fan art of a tag that already has images then in some cases the file is not replaced due to lock and you'll see the thumbnail on the choosers update but not the main portrait on the details screen. This is fixed on my latest code, it turns out to be a garbage collection issue not freeing up the memory of the bitmap.
2. When importing tags from IAFD or FreeOnes then suggestions can be made i.e. Blue Eyes. If you decide to create a new tag for Blue eyes then it doesn't get added correctly, merging to an existing tag is fine. As I now understand the error and have fixed it, the issue may also appear if you are creating more than one tag in the import, i.e. two actresses, or an actress and an appearance. Very annoying, but fixed in next version.
3. Fanart or Portraits cannot be easily set when importing. For example if you decide you don't like the art being pulled from import you'd expect to be able to browse for a new file and upload. This does not work correctly in 1.5 and goes a bit strange. Workaround is to import tag and then update the artwork via the Tag admin - although you might hit bug 1 above!
Next version I'll get out as I say in the next day or so. Anyone desperate for the fix (i.e. today) let me know and I'll build one up quickly for you. New version though will have some nice new featues like being able to paste image directly into image editor rather than download file from internet and upload.
