I'm back to announce that Book 2 of Modern Patriarch (with that stunning cover) is out on Kindle Unlimited
To celebrate the release of Book 2 (in case you saw the cover and want to know what it's about) Book 1 is on sale for a week and you can grab it for 0.99$!
I'm going to be starting work on Book 3 in about a week's time and aim to get it done in three months, for the people that have been asking:)
I do think that Book 2 is the best out of all my works so far, because the pacing is tighter, the slice of life elements are balanced by tension and it ends on an action filled note that was very well received on royal road.
Synopsis (SPOILERS FOR BOOK 1 READERS BELOW)
Yao Shen, Grand Patriarch of the Modern Sect, succeeds in his bold attempt to unify the Azlak Plains.
The construction of the Mortal Capital, All Haven is well underway.
Under the rule of Soul Emperor Yao Shen, the Azlak Plains seems to be on the verge of stepping into a new era, a time when old grievances and festering wounds are set aside and given time to heal in favour of unprecedented progress and growth.
All is going well until the mighty demonic path sect, The Ancient Codex takes note of Yao Shen's actions.
Gavril Ar'kael, Soul Emperor of The Ancient Codex has been watching Yao Shen's meteoric rise from the shadows and he seeks to unravel the secrets behind Yao Shen's strength through the only means he knows how.
Violence is coming.
Yao Shen, together with the Modern Sect, is confronted by the weight of his own ambitions. To survive, his own strength is not enough. The Modern Sect, a coalition of once enemies, must learn to truly set aside their differences and learn to fight as one if they wish to overcome this challenge.
