OMG YOU'RE FINALLY WATCHING NO MERCY! I remember watching this when I first got into Monsta X in the summer of 2017. By then I had listened to most of their discography and Minhyuk grabbed my attention. However, Shownu kept creeping up on me. His "All Of Me" performance solidified him as my bias and eventually my ult.

Ahhh here we go 😂 Please tell me if I get too salty, I just have a very strong dislike putting it mildly for Mnet for the trauma they cause contestants for entertainment, mainly through their manipulative editing and lies (ie like mistranslating what Chinese trainees were saying). And tbh I think this one is just a poorly done show, plus of course a lot is staged/scripted etc, but I agree the pacing is a loooot better vs lots of others! (Also keep an eye on their numbers 😉) Like part of the scenes with GOT7 were staged. But yes Shownu was either going to debut at JYP as a soloist or as a trio with Jinyoung and JB, but there was so much indecision over which on the company’s part that he got frustrated and eventually left, not cut. Jooheon and Shownu did do really well! And you’re right it’s such a high emotion situation, of course many of them are already very close (especially Minhyuk and Hyungwon), but they are competing for their futures. Deokspatch Season 1 aired at the same time and goes along with No Mercy. Seasons 2 and 3 are just Monsta X after they debuted! Thank you!! ❤️

So deoxpatch is the shorter show you where talking about that you should do along with this. It’s three seasons. Episodes are extremely short. Season 1 has all the trainees. So that’s why we were saying it would go well with no mercy. Because I would say season 1 of deoxpatch a like a behind the scenes type thing for no mercy. But the episodes are really short.
