So, this is not a story update. Sorry if you got excited for it! Instead, this is a bit of an… idea share. A concept phase if you will.
So, as some of you from my discord might know, and I cannot believe I’m about to say this…
I got Naruto on the brain.
Yeah. Fucking weird, right? And obviously my crackwhore squirrel of a muse has a million different unrelated and incompatible ideas. So, in an effort to try to force the bitch to pick something, I’d like your opinions, thoughts, etc on some of these. Can’t guarantee anything will sway me, but maybe if I put these on paper the muse will fucking shut up and pick something. To try to keep pairings from being a factor, I’m not sharing any of that.
For ALL of these ideas, assume that the Rinnegan being a hurr hurr Sharingan durr thing is not, in fact, a thing. Fuck that. Also fuck Izanami and Izanagi. They don’t exist. Also assume Hashirama cells are not “The Secret Stuff™.” Ninja graduate 16 minimum, etc. etc.
So here we go:
Idea 1:
This one follows the general vein of the “Jiraiya trains Naruto” bunny I posted a few weeks back, even if it may or may not be a direct continuation. Idk. In any case, Naruto spams Kage Bunshin and just becomes a total elemental master, figuring out multiple combination elements and such. Once sage mode gets added in, things will start getting whack… because all of his training basically lead to the Rinnegan. Think about it: All elements, Sage training, Kage Bunshin, Summoning… Ninshū from Kurama… He’s really only missing Naraka Path and Deva path.
Idea 2:
This one fucks canon the hardest. Like… seriously. I don’t even pretend to give a fuck about canon. It’s the “Abbacchio Joins the Kicking” meme of fic ideas. It would also probably be the quickest fic out of all of them.
Absolutely no Generation Xeroxing. No toads. No Rasengan. No Hirashin. Etc. He has his own powerset based off another character I love with all my heart.
Basic premise is the same as Vulpine. Naruto attempts a summoning without a contract and gets yeeted to another realm. I actually have two versions of this, but in either case, expect broken overpowered summons, Broken overpowered Naruto, and him making canon his bitch. This is because the realm he gets reverse summoned to is not one that is easily accessible from the Nations, because there is either no contract at all and therefore they have not created a path back to Earth, or because the contract was lost/destroyed hundreds of years ago, blah blah blah.
End result is that Naruto gets stuck in this world for years and grows up alongside his summons, learning from them, fighting them, and playing a survival game against a primordial world where half of everything around him wants to eat him, and everything he eats just makes him stronger. By the time they finally manage to figure out a way to get him home, he’s so strong that Hiruzen is forced to just make him a Jōnin when he gets instated as a ninja… After he solo saves team 7 in wave and then follows Haku to Kiri to accidentally the Bloodline Genocide Regime under Yagura. :EvilMiko:
Also, the changes aren’t only on the Naruto side. Konoha changes too due to his disappearance. Several things happen, including their spies finding Karin just after her mother’s death in Kusa (all enemy villages were infiltrated in an attempt to figure out who took Naruto) and bringing the willing Uzumaki back to the village. She’d take Naruto’s place in his class, and eventually his spot on team 7.
Idea 3:
Kushina gets pissed off at Minato and yells at him during the sealing. She forces him to Seal Yin Kurama into her, and then BOTH her and Yang Kurama into Naruto in separate seals. After a couple years healing, she wakes up and immediately goes full Mommy for Naruto. She starts teaching him, helping him, etc. And eventually, she gets released, and assumes the Godaime position in place of Tsunade.
Naruto himself would be a seal god obviously, with some HEAVY influence from Fairy Tail’s Dark Ecriture. Just writing seals with pure Chakra in midair and setting zones of “you do what I say, bitch.” Throw in some blacksmithing as well for some god weapons (Gáe Bolg!) created via Fūinjutsu and we’ve got ourselves some fun.
I’ve actually got a concept scene I can post for this one that I wrote years ago to give you guys an idea if you’re interested. It’s pretty short tho. It wasn’t actually written for this, but it fits it well anyway. LOL
I’d like to throw in some of the riskier ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) for it but Patreon would scream at me so I probably wouldn’t be able to post in here. >_>
Idea 4:
Bit of a short one, but basically just Cú Chulain inspired Naruto. Again seals, but he’d be primarily a spear fighter and create himself Gáe Bolg. If it wasn’t for him spamming different weapons in idea 3 I could probably just slot this one into that one honestly. Maybe throw in Wolf summons. (Garm, anybody? :EvilMiko:)
Idea 5:
Naruto masters a single E-Rank jutsu to ludicrous degrees, and everyone freaks the fuck out. What is that jutsu? Henge. Which he uses to hilariously overpowered effect. How so? He turns himself into Katakuri.

Naruto: *casually dodges every poke without even moving from his spot*
Neji and the rest of the Hyūga: *Enel Face*
Idea 6:
This is a really old idea I had years and years ago. It’s another elemental fuckery one, with some One Piece flavor thrown in.
Basically, Naruto develops Negative Emotion Sensing when he’s really young, due to both being the son of a Jinchūriki and Kurama’s Jinchūriki himself. As such, he is absolutely determined to unfuck Sasuke’s mind after Itachi Itachi’d him. Turns into a Brosuke fic, with Sasuke getting his Lightning Affinity so high he goes Logia, Naruto getting his Affinity so high he does as well, and eventually, replaces Sakura with Haku after Wave, with her also being an Ice Logia. (I don’t remember exactly why Sakura was replaced beyond “author wants it.” Maybe I killed her, maybe something else. I don’t remember.)
After the Chūnin exams where Sasuke proves his loyalty and refuses to go to Orochimaru, Sarutobi tells him the truth of the massacre and takes him under his wing after leaving Konoha in Tsunade’s hands, Naruto goes with Jiraiya, and Haku… I don’t remember. :kek:

Idea 7:
basically, a bit of a Beast Mode Naruto, similar to the Inuzuka. Just different animal. Probably Jaguar or Tiger.

Anyway, I think I had more (Like just going back to the great sage, though I don’t think that’s an option for various reasons I won’t really get into now beyond saying it involved crossover shenanigans and me really not being interested in Naruto Crossovers anymore.), but these are all the ones coming to mind.
Let me know what you guys think of them! I’m looking for some good feedback here.

I really love the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th ideas you have but if I had to chose one of them I would go with the 3rd as it has the most interesting idea considering Kushina being hokage and being able to sign seals in the air that sounds amazing to read

Honestly leaning towards idea 3 because I’m a sucker for fuinjutsu based fics (or fics where they explore deeper into a power in the universe), I’m also just a sucker for ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), I also like idea 5 because I like fics where they take one simple/low level power and completely game break it and finally 6 because I’m a sucker for some bromance stories. I also wouldn’t mind a continuation for Great Sage or Jiraiya trains Naruto. I also wouldn’t mind 2 because I’m a sucker for stories about summoning.

I would like to see 3 worked through because sealing fun, sealing tell reality to sit in a corner and cry and the first fic in a while the dose anything with the other half of kurama's Chakra well I hope this idea has plans for it that's my take.

Honestly 3,4,5, and 6 are all cool ideas in my opinion. I can't get behind ideas 1 and 2 at all though cause #1 we've seen plenty of "what if Jiraiya did something" fics and #2 just isn't to my tastes. If I had to pick, I'd say that 3 and 4 are my picks, probably 3 at the highest cause Kushina, while 4 sounds like it could be interesting.

Personally, I like idea 3 because, as Loghead101 said, I can't think of any fics of the top of my hat where Kushina becomes hokage. I'd love to see, what kind of chaos and shenanigans would ensue.

I actually really like all of these except for 1 & 4. And it's not even that 1 & 4 are bad; the premise of 1 is just fairly overdone and I think GOOD Fate crossovers are hard to manage (it's also just not my fav fandom to begin with). #7 has potential to easily become another One Piece inspired Naruto crossover by making him Rob Lucci via an incomplete Jaguar sage mode. If I had to put them in depending order of preference, it'd go: 1. Idea #2 2. Idea #6 3. Idea #3 4. Idea #5 5. Idea #7 6. Idea #1 7. Idea #4

Out of all of them only ideas 1, 2, and 3 really stand out to me. You already have a first chapter for 1 but it’s also what I’ve already read in so many Naruto fics so if you had to pick then I’d go for one of the other 2. While I do want to see what this clan, world, and conflict is in idea 2, I’ve never read a fic where Kushina actually becomes Hokage and seal Naruto is always fun. If you could then maybe both.

personally i like idea 3, and unless i missed something, it should be possible to add a dash of idea 5, with the henge shenanigans. also this would mean naruto gets some actual social skills, and i'm pretty sure Kushina would try her hardest to curb naruto's vocal tic... i wonder what the pairing is? im actually hopin for a threesome, maybe foursome with Naruto, Hinata, Ino, and either Haku (Haku is a girl and you cannot convince me otherwise) or Tenten

Personally want idea 3 the most cuz love me so Queen of Redheads milf Kushina Idea 1 I also like a lot because I enjoy Naruto using his strengths to actually not be ass until endgame of the series for once Idea 5 sounds like fun crack Idea 6 the premise is interesting not a super fan of Sakura being ass blasted out of existence/quitting and being replaced by Haku because she got really shafted by the anime when in the manga she wasn't nearly that bad but still interested in seeing this one be made as well. Idea 3 still my main pick because Redhead Milf (if you need to post NSFW FF.net no longer has any admins that give a shit about lemons and Ao3 never has cared. Or make it a private channel on discord and only patreons get the link idk.) Followed by Idea 1 because I really liked the Jiraiya training Naruto for real oneshot.

I personally like 1 and 3 the most, though 5 could be fun too. I honestly would love to see a good Rinnegan Naruto fic given how I’ve never seen a good one that made it past the Chuunin exams. And the idea of Kushina being involved in Naruto’s life, to say nothing of seal god Naruto which is also rare as fuck, is amazing. I’ll also admit I’d love the lewd aspect you hinted at as well. Even if you’d have to post it somewhere else. And Kushina as Hokage is always awesome. Woman could restrain the full might of the Kyuubi while on her death bed. She’s more than deserving if her other skills are even half as impressive. Especially with your hints about seals being similar to Dark Ecriture(?).

I love idea 3 kushina as kage she’ll fix a lot of problems with the village with the uchiha discrimination and the school system when she finds out what’s going on with the village treating her son god yes she go absolutely bat shit and sealing for Naruto is always a win
