UG! I shouldn't have deleted my comment on the last one! I theorized that Ruby was using the situation to get finally credit for her work! That while she didn't lie to anyone about the offer from her friend (the meeting was real) that she didn't want to leave the Bistro and was treating it the same way you let your boss accidentally find out you are looking for a new job so he offers you a raise to stay. She knows how gossip works at the bistro, and she was playing EVERYONE. Nicole is going to be pissed, but then respect it, and it adds to their... tension... I deleted it because someone told me in so many words that it was stupid (saying Ruby's meeting with her friend was proof, even though i already address that...) but I didn't wanna deal with it,so I just deleted it.
