I believe it was PythonSelken that posited that theory originally. Personally, I think it's neat, but just a coincidence. Either way, what we end up with is a pretty unsatisfying story arc and that just feels shitty no matter how you spin it. If the game was 1/2 the length, maybe it would feel more like a magic trick, but it feels so poorly paced and planned that I can't really give it that positive read. I can't assume positive intent with how lazy and sloppy some of the game is.

Does any of you guys support the theory that MGSV was left “unfinished” on purpose by Kojima to give players their own “phantom pain”? Was it a python selken video that covered this? I don’t remember but found it very interesting. I doubt it’s true but really wish it was! Great to hear V finally being covered! All the best, guys.
