MGM Let's Play #16 - Metal Gear NES (1988) with Alessio and Sam
🕑 Added 2019-06-02 17:09:29 +0000 UTCSam and Alessio begin their next Let's Play adventures—this time covering the original 1988 NES Metal Gear. The Worlds of Power 1990 novelization of the game as their guide, they'll take down Metal Gear (even if it doesn't actually exist in this version of the game).

That’s because that’s the “actual” MSX2 version and not the bad American NES port. Much better game, IMO.
I'm playing along as well! Though the release with subsistence is a little different. Some ways a little easier but in some ways. Bit tougher

Really excited to get the next two episodes of this slotted in the rotation soon. Been having fun with the NES Metal Gear.
Nice Courtney Love reference, Alessio. Nice GoT reference, Sam. Quality let's play as always
