Chapter 33: Kakashi Vs Hulk (2)

The Hulk roared as he tored through the ninja wire binding him, the metal snapping like thread under his monstrous strength.
With a bellow, the Hulk slammed his fists into the Swamp. The impact sent him surging upward, breaking free as mud splattered.
Kakashi’s tracked the burn marks on the Hulk’s skin, they were healing but slower than expected.
'So he is not completely invulnerable Good.' His mind raced, 'This’d be over in a second if I could just Kamui his head off. But Ross wants him alive. Tch, figures. Not my style, but a job’s a job.'
The Hulk leaped, his massive fist aimed at Kakashi’s chest. Kakashi activated Kamui, phasing through the attack, the punch splitting a nearby tree in half with a deafening crack.
'Too close,' he thought, landing lightly on the grass. He needed to slow this beast down and he needed water, lots of water.
His hands flashed through seals. “Water Release: Wild Water Wave!” A high-pressure torrent of water erupted from his mouth, slamming into the Hulk and pushing him back.
The attack did little damage, but that wasn’t the point—Kakashi needed the water for his next move.
'Normal lightning jutsu won’t cut it against this guy,' he mused. 'But this should sting.'
He wove more signs, chakra surging. “Lightning Release: Purple Lightning!” A wild wave of violet electricity arced from his hands, striking the water-soaked Hulk. The monster roared, his body seizing as the current paralyzed him, muscles locking under the intense shock.
Kakashi didn’t hesitate, his hands moving again as he appeared behind hulk, “Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu!” The scattered water coalesced, forming a spherical cage around the Hulk, trapping him in a shimmering water orb.
“Now then,” Kakashi muttered, one hand maintaining the prison, “I can’t have you thrashing and breaking this with your raw strength.” He raised his other hand, channeling another burst of Purple Lightning into the water. The electricity surged through the prison, amplifying the shock.
The Hulk’s pained bellow echoed, his body twitching but unable to move, burns spreading across his green skin.
'The lightning would keep him paralyzed. He’s tough, but he still needs air.'
Kakashi’s plan was simple: suffocate the Hulk until he passed out. 'No permanent damage, just lights out.'
The Hulk’s roars grew weaker, his struggles slowing as oxygen deprivation took its toll. Kakashi’s Sharingan tracked every twitch, ensuring the monster didn’t break free.
'Five, maybe six minutes, and he’s down.' The burns from the lightning were superficial but painful, slowing the Hulk’s regeneration.
Kakashi’s eye crinkled, a faint smirk beneath his mask.
After six agonizing minutes, the Hulk’s eyes rolled back, his massive form going limp. Kakashi released the Water Prison, the sphere collapsing into a puddle.
Kakashi exhaled, his chakra reserves still strong despite the intense jutsu.
'Would you look at that, I can use so many jutsus without chakra exhaustion? Who would have thought' Kakashi thought with a wry smile underneath his mask.
Before he could move, a scream cut through the air. “Nooooo!” Betty Ross broke free from a soldier’s grip, sprinting toward Hulk's prone form, tears streaming down her face.
Her anguish hit Kakashi like a kunai to the chest, reminding him of Rin’s desperate cries when Obito died,'She loves him. Monster or not, she sees the man.'
A soldier lunged to stop Betty, knocking her to the ground with a rough shove. She gasped, pain flashing across her face as she hit the dirt. “Let go of me!” she shouted, struggling as the soldier pinned her arms, ignoring her grunts of pain.
Kakashi’s eye narrowed, a rare spark of anger igniting. 'Idiot. Can’t you see she’s not the threat or in any danger?'
The Hulk stirred as if he had heard Betty's pained voice in unconsciousness.
The ground trembled as Hulk’s hand twitched, his body stirring. A low growl rumbled from his chest, his eyes snapping open—green, feral.
The Hulk surged to his feet, faster than Kakashi expected, and charged the soldier. With a single slap, the monster sent the man flying, his body crumpling against a tree with a sickening crunch.
Dead on impact,'Kakashi noted, his anger flaring. 'From what I have observed, they’re making this worse. The Hulk’s protecting her, just like Naruto protected people when he used nine tailed chakra. His instincts is guiding him. This hulk is just like a jinchuriki.'
Kakashi’s patience snapped.
'Enough. Time to end this.' He formed a shadow clone with a quick seal, the clone darting toward Betty.
The clone scooped her up, ignoring her protests, and carried her toward General Ross’s position. The real Kakashi faced the Hulk, who was turning toward Betty, his eyes blazing with rage.
Kakashi raised his hand, chakra swirling into a massive, spinning blue orb. “Giant Rasengan,” he muttered.
He leaped, the Hulk’s gaze snapping upward. The Rasengan slammed and engulfed the entire monster’s body, the impact unleashing a deafening explosion.
Dust and debris filled the air, the shockwave knocking soldiers off their feet. When the smoke cleared, Bruce Banner lay unconscious, his body battered but human, the Hulk finally subdued.
Kakashi landed lightly. The shadow clone reached Ross, who stood frozen, his face a mix of shock. The clone set Betty down, her tear-streaked face twisted with fury as she lunged toward her father.
“You did this!” she screamed, only for the clone to gently chop the back of her neck, knocking her out cold.
“Here’s your girl,” the clone said, its tone dry. “I expect my payment delivered. And, y’know, a bonus wouldn’t hurt since I did all the heavy lifting while your guys played target practice. C’ya.” With a puff of smoke, the clone vanished.
The real Kakashi was already gone, slipping into the shadows with Kamui, his form fading into another dimension. 'No need to stick around for Ross’s questions or possible retaliation. 'His Sharingan had caught the general’s expression—shock, yes, but also hunger.
'Good luck catching a ninja, General.' Kakashi thought as he took a breather in his Kamui Dimension.
