--update: added stylish mix of line art and coloration in an overlaid effect--
I did this pic for the 10th anniversary artwork of my fursona DJ Darkfox, who I created in December 25th 2006.
I worked longer on this than expected, already wanted to have the coloration done on dec 25th 2016, but it took me a bit more than a week longer, but that doesnt matter after such a long time already x3
Now exclusive here on Patreon, the high resolution scan for you to enjoy all the fine details. <3
Appreciate it please, I scanned it with an A4 sized scanner like 12 times and put each scan together which alone took almost 2 hours XD
This pic is also dedicated to my dear friend Elly, without her, we would not have influenced our skills each other so good to have it being it like it is now. She also has always been a very helpful friend for almost eight years now, which I highly appreciate so much, which is why Andre is a guest this time. <3
I have done this piccy on A2 (42x60cm) sized paper this time, which is roughly 17x23 inches of paper size, all done in copics and white acryl for the highlights <3
Have a shot of a shredded, massive muscle fox getting out of his swimming pool... whose shorts accidently slipped a bit in that moment x3
Andre seems to enjoy it and doesnt want to waste time to get into the pool too ;3

Oh damn, that must have been quite difficult getting it to line up right๐ But you did an awesome job of it, no scanlines are visible! And of course I afmire the details, they are what makes your art so special and pleasing to lookt at, and you (in my eyes) one of the best furry artists out there :3

Haha yea, scanning an image the size of 42x60cm aint the easiest feat with a scanner the size of 21x30cm XD But I did it! Thanks a lot man, always glad to see people like you admiring even the smaller details <3

Even after 6 years, I'm still in awe of the details on this one, seeing it fully scanned makes it even more apparent (Thank you so much for doing this^^) The water drops falling from his face glistening in the sun, the striations on his muscles, the thin wet marks on the ground from his claws, it all looks so good! And man, he has really grown in these 10 years! He went from a really fit fox to a muscle beast, probably more than doubling his weight and strenght :3 And even now after 6 years more, he still seems keen to keep getting bigger and bigger^^

Yeah, that must have been annoying. I've also had to scan A3 with my A4 scanner and it sucks...but A2...man, that must be so much worse. So I definitely appreciate the effort you made so I can trace every single one of DJ's veins x3.

I am happy you like it, just imagine scanning an image the size of 4k screen with just having the surface of 1/4 of its size xD
