Big Update! Please read.
🕑 Added 2024-04-06 13:34:11 +0000 UTCThe time has come for the big reveal! I am making some changes to patron benefits and am also adding a new series of mods, some on Nexus and some exclusive to Patreon. Let's begin.
I am removing the benefit that adds patron names to every mod. I honestly feel that most people don't care about this and want more tangible benefits. I understand!
I am releasing a new series of mods called Enemy 2 Ally or E2A. These mods, when not for my own followers, will act as a patch that disables the original follower placement so you won't be able to find them waiting in an inn, for instance. Instead, an enemy version of the follower has been placed out in the world for you to find and defeat. On the body of the enemy version you will find a teleportation book which will allow you to summon the now enabled original follower and you can invite them to join you as normal. This mechanic is a dream of mine as I would love to have an entire playthrough without any modded followers clogging up my cities just waiting for me to pay attention to them. Instead, they can be found out in the world in an organic fashion and because each follower has three random places where they can spawn, every playthrough will be different even if I take the same exact route.
There will be Patreon exclusive E2A patches for the $5 tier and higher as well as Nexus E2A patches. Just a note about the patches: They only include the edited plugin, facegen data and the E2A scripts. The original follower mod will still be required (unless they are my E2A follower).
I have added an E2A asset collection to the Nexus which uses BnP 2.0 skin textures. In addition, the bodies for my followers are now handled in a different way. Basically, my E2A followers that use the asset collection will have updated textures and no longer include body meshes or Bodyslide files. This means that it will use your installed body and my textures. Why? Because I am a huge fan of OBody Next Generation and feel that it is the future of Skyrim. Why play with one bodyslide preset when you can have 100? You get it.
I am still going to have polls but they will likely be for E2A conversions. It is becoming more difficult to identify a diverse amount of follower mods for de-standalone conversions so I am just going to start releasing them on my own again. The plan is to release at least one E2A patch or E2A follower per week and de-standalone conversions whenever possible (likely at least one per week).
I know I have neglected my google drive a bit. I apologize for that. Polls will also be added for de-standalone conversions on there as the pool of potential followers is significantly higher.
All in all, I am very excited for these upcoming changes. I feel that the Enemy 2 Ally mechanic will add a new layer of depth to the world of Skyrim and really enhance your immersion. If you like what I do, please support me so that I know you like my work and want to see more of it.
For those that have supported me until now, thank you so much for believing in me and showing me that you care about what I do. It means a lot!
Without further adieu, I give you the new asset collection and first couple of E2A conversions.
