To mourn my friend Ryan T.T
🕑 Added 2024-01-29 12:25:27 +0000 UTCAs I finish this drawing, I still can't believe that it's been almost a year since my friend Ryan left this world. It makes me so sad every time I think about the fact that he is no longer with us.(〒︿〒)
I was scrolling through my private messages on Twitter the other day and saw Ryan's last message to me: your praise is a treasure to me, teacher!!!! 🙏🙇 And the time stopped forever on the 21st of January 2023. Until then, he would always send me his new drawings from time to time, and he would always be especially happy whenever he got encouragement and praise from me.
Although I never met Ryan in reality, and I didn't know him very well, I could sense from every conversation I had with him that he was a kind, passionate and sharing person.
I was shocked to learn of his sudden passing in early April last year, and I regretted that I never got to fulfil one of his wishes, a character commission for his beloved mermaid boy, Ryleigh.
So, in honour of Ryan, I drew the following picture.
May Ryan always be happy in heaven.
I will always remember you, my friend.

He left this world due to depression. In early April last year, several of his artist friends messaged me with the sad news.
