Pupper is getting hot and bothered....

I do remember playing that game but don’t remember ever completed it.

RoninDude

Haha I am watching that channel right now! Great channel. Also Shredder's Revenge is awesome indeed!

Griffin Hawk

If ever I feel nostalgic about it, I just watch the U Can Beat Video Games playthrough. Which ends up being more fun than actually playing the game. But those later games, those I can still play for a couple hours and have a blast. Shredder's Revenge is fantastic, it captures everything fun about the original games and adds quite a bit more.

RoninDude

I tried recently and ended up getting a game over at the 4th area with the spotlights. Pretty brutal haha

Jon Mopho

Honestly it's been so long that I don't think that I can anymore either. Not without abusing save states at least but that doesn't count 😅

RoninDude

Thanks! I've never made it to shredder, but I've seen some playthroughs hehe

RoninDude

Yeah, definitely. I always liked the premise of being able to switch between the turtles and having to manage their health, and that you could lose them and rescue them, but in the end, I think it could have been executed better.

Jon Mopho

The hair color looks good and I can totally relate to sassy here. The final stage is grueling enough but having to start over because you got one shot by Shredder's stupid ray gun is just... yeah. Anyway, I love this piece

I did play that game back when it was new. Never beat it. I have on mame now, but. . . kina seems like a hassle. The games that later came out on arcade, SNES, and Genesis were so much more fun.

RoninDude

Thanks!

RoninDude

A true champ!

RoninDude

Possibly lol

Lucavi Voltaire

This is so good! Very nice

That top button on Ruthie's shirt is holding on for dear life.

Anon44

Has Ruthie always been into girls, or is this a formative moment? :D

Johnathon Grosse

Ab-SO-lutely! ^_^ I'll always miss that poster and a few other things, but it's still a memory I will ever cherish.

RoninDude

Oh man, that's rough! I lost all of my old NES artifacts too, due to various tragedies. But the memory lives on!

Johnathon Grosse

I will be looking forward to that! Also, I had the poster on which the original NES TMNT game box art was based, but my family put it in our shed when I went off to the military, so it got waterlogged and moldy. Still a little salty about that.

RoninDude

Glad you enjoy it! I love that era, it's my happy place. I have a follow up picture in the works!

Johnathon Grosse

Sassy and Ruthie, always a great pair to view! I love the background (the Nintendo Power takes me back) and the second panel is jaw-dropping, eye-popping gorgeous! *needs a towel for the drool*
