Gotta keep her eye out for that old reliable wall chicken!
Tim Bend
Uh Oh lot's of baddies. Hope she can find some conveniently misplaced mystery meat, keep her health up.
RoninDude
Whatever you call it, it didn't work for me, so I left it out. :)

Hmm, tentacle grates seem more like a floor/door trap than a wall trap.
RoninDude
Yeah, the sketch was really just a collection of ideas, and in a drawing like this, I don't expect all of them to make it in the final. Lately I try to only keep details that add to the idea or message, and the tentacle grate didn't. I considered putting a wall chicken in there, but I have that in the next drawing, so I figured I'd just put a pillar arch there instead.

So much battle damage! :D Ooh, I see you lost the tentacles. Much as I like tentacles, it seems that was the right choice. The picture has a lot better flow and gives the intrepid vampire slayer more momentum towards the right side of the page.
RoninDude
Hehe awesome! I was hoping to capture the feel of the old games, where you are basically fleeing the monster behind you, while slaying the monsters in front. XD

Love this! It's so dynamic and I can hear the 8-bit music in my head when I look at it.
