(Major) Towns

Today I wanted to share some information about my plans in regards to important towns, villages and the like. (Which is an thing for the future)
Every town/village will have either a chief or a king ruling over it.
Depending on the town, the village chief will allow the player to pay for certain features.
This could range from building a shipyard, to a brothel, to city walls to a barracks and many more!
In the future, I am planning on events where certain towns can be attacked by intruders, towns can lose trade routes, get cursed or starve to death etc.
The point is, some cities and towns will simply not survive this world. It is up to you to decide which ones you help out and which ones you'll sacrifice.
And if the game ever ends up getting popular enough, I'd probably add a new game plus option where these are getting disabled and you'll have to deal more with politics instead.
