Hansry painting redraw idea
🕑 Added 2025-06-09 09:05:33 +0000 UTCI always loved how the artists in the KCD2 fandom collectively decided that Hans and Henry are the perfect subjects for redraws of classic paintings! I already made one of "Romeo and Juliet" by Frank Dicksee which was my very first fanart of them, lol. Now I'm going for "The Kiss" by Silvio Allason. It'll be set during Hans' wedding to add an extra layer of drama. So keep your eyes out for that! Might post a WIP or two of it ๐

The idea is very cute! Hopefully it will encourage more artists to draw more of Hansry because I need more to survive the dull reality, haha.

We had to analyse "The Arnolfini Portrait" TO DEATH during art classes ๐ It would work for them, too! I was also considering to redraw "The End of the Quest" by Frank Dicksee as them. Aaah, so many ideas to choose from!

Thatโs an excellent idea! One of my favourite arts is โThe Arnolfini Portraitโ by Jan Van Eyck. I always loved the serene yet dark atmosphere. I can already imagine Hans being represented as the feudal lord of the lands and Henry as the castellan of the main fortification ๐ฅฐ
