Some of the colosseum characters that come off as not even like side characters but almost background characters (I considered Sai in this category), really shine through with Oda's choices in the narrative. Sai's character design is pretty simple and he did have some moments in the show but nothing major. But this scene makes him one of my favorites. He like leveled up to VIP status.
