[Orcbane] Chapter 1 - One Little Accident

Plot:
After Jiraiya beats up Ebisu, Naruto is left without a teacher to train him for the Chunin Exams. Impressed by Jiriya's Summoning Jutsu and left with no other choice, Naruto decides to steal the Scroll of Seals again to learn that technique. However, having not signed a summoning contract beforehand, things go terribly wrong.
Notes:
- the title should be an obvious clue but I'll state it explicitly: this fic is not for those who love the orcs. I will also mention that trolls won't be shown in a positive light either. If you are a fan of these, don't read the fic.
- Naruto's character starts off canon but gradually changes. A different environment and different experiences will naturally lead to a change in character. It will not happen in an instant, but there will be significant changes.
- the canon of Warcraft will be derailed gradually but heavily. It is not a simple rewrite of the events.
Pairing: Naruto/Windrunner sisters. Sylvanas is 100% guaranteed. As for Alleria and Vereesa, I am not sure. That being said, other girls won't be added. It's only the sisters.
Timeline: the fic starts before the opening of the Dark Portal
One last thing: I played WOTLK (mostly battlegrounds and world pvp) for years and I did my fair share of reading and research but I'm not an expert in wow lore. So if I made a mistake or if you find some lore information included in the fic that is not correct, I'm all ears. But keep in mind that, at the end of the day, this is fanfiction. Some things will be changed compared to the canon.

Chapter 1 - One Little Accident
Somewhere in the Land of Fire, in a certain hot springs town, a short blonde boy watched in disbelief how his sensei got defeated in the blink of an eye by a strange old man’s giant toad.
“Hey… Closet Pervert. Wake up.”
However, that ‘Closet Pervert’ was knocked out cold, with his legs and arms spread out on the ground. He looked pathetic.
Crouching behind his prone form, the boy formed a ram seal with his hands and said:
“Leaf Village Secret Finger Jutsu: One Thousand Years of Death!”
The anticipated yowl of agony from having his butthole gored out did not come.
“He’s totally knocked out…” he said, the tone of his voice betraying his disappointment.
His sensei, Hatakae Kakashi, had chosen to focus on training Sasuke expressively for the Chunin Exams and dumped Naruto in the hands of a so-called ‘Tokubetsu Jonin’ to train him in his stead. However, a few months ago, Naruto had easily defeated that Tokubetsu Jonin, Ebisu, with the use of his Harem Sexy Jutsu, knocking him out cold. His opinion of him was not great, to put it lightly.
“Aaah~, I told Kakashi-sensei that this guy is weak, but he didn’t believe me. What am I to do now?”
As he asked himself that, Naruto turned his ire on the one who had beaten up the man who was supposed to train him.
“Oy! What’s with that big frog? What the heck are you?”
The culprit was a stout old man with very long white hair. The short green kimono, the red haori, the wooden sandals, and the forehead protector with a kanji for “oil” written on it would have tipped any other Konoha shinobi in regards to his identity, but Naruto was as clueless as they came.
“Thank you for asking!” the old man struck a pose and said as if he had been waiting for that question all along. “People know me as the Mountain Toad Spirit Sage Who Acquires Immortality, also commonly called the Toad Mountain Sage.”
The boy wasn’t amused, to say the least.
“Oy! Perverted Sage! What’re you going to do about this?!” he shouted. “He was supposed to watch over my training, but you messed him all up!”
Jiraiya’s voice got deeper when he replied:
“He interfered with my research. You see, I’m a writer, and—”
“What research are you talking about? You were just peeking at the girls’ bath!”
His loud voice was heard by the women inside the bath, who started screaming and running out of the hot springs to protect their modesty.
“Noooo! What are you doing?!” Jiraiya cried out in anguish.
“What a pervert!” Naruto said in disgust.
“Fool! I’m not just a pervert! I get inspired by peeking and can write better pieces!”
“You’re just lying! More importantly, what are you going to do about my training?” Naruto shouted at him. “You knocked Ebisu out! You should take responsibility and join my training instead!”
Jiraiya scoffed. “Humph! I don’t care about such things.”
But the boy didn’t give up.
“Hey, Pervert Sage! It’s your fault that I don’t have a sensei now! Fix your mistake!”
The old pervert lost his patience.
“Shut up! I hate people who don’t know how to talk respectfully! And I don’t like men.”
When shouting and throwing a tantrum didn’t work, Naruto tried next to butter him up and praise his Icha Icha books.
“Y’know, the Make Out Paradise series was really exciting, cool, and interesting-”
But Jiraiya was no fool. He was shooting down everything he said.
“The purchase and viewing of my Icha Icha novels is prohibited for those younger than 18, you liar.“
“B-But, the reviews that I’ve heard are great!”
“It’s useless to flatter me! I’m a Sage! I’m not the type that can be coaxed by a fledgling like you!”

As he followed the self-proclaimed Sage all over the small hot springs town and watched him get beat up to a pulp by the angry women he was peeking at, Naruto lost any shred of respect he might have had for the man.
Having witnessed how easily Jiraiya had defeated Ebisu, Naruto thought the old man had to be pretty strong. But now that he was looking at the raw, red handprints on his wrinkled face from having been slapped by half a dozen women, he grimaced in a mixture of disgust and disappointment.
“This grown-up is so disgraceful. Maybe there’s nothing special about him after all.”
After saying those words, Naruto turned around and left.
“I should get back home.”
He would need to start walking back home now if he wanted not to end up sleeping in a tree because this hot springs town was a few good hours of walking away from Konohagakure.
By the time he finally stepped through the door of his small apartment, Naruto was tired, hungry, and annoyed.
“Argh, I lost an entire day for nothing!”
There were only 29 days left until the final phase of the chunin exams started. One month seemed like a long time, but it wasn’t.
‘Right now, Kakashi-sensei is teaching Sasuke all sorts of strong jutsu!’
When he let out a shout of frustration, a clanging noise came from one of the pipes connected to the radiator in his bedroom. It was the neighbour a level below him, smashing the pipe as a warning for him to stop yelling.
“Damn it! How am I supposed to catch up to Bushy Brows or get strong enough to beat up Neji? Sasuke will also leave me in the dust! And there’s that crazy sand guy too!”
In the heat of the moment, he had gone ahead and made a promise that he would avenge Hinata and beat the crap out of Hyuuga Neji. But how was he supposed to get stronger when Kakashi ignored him for Sasuke and his new sensei was a loser now lying unconscious in some hospital?
He started biting his nails in anxiety.
“No, no. This won’t do. I have to do something.”
But he also knew that training mindlessly, with nobody to tell him how to improve or teach him new jutsu, would be a fruitless endeavour. After all, if working hard with no direction had been enough to yield results, Naruto would not have been held back for three years in the Academy.
Eyes widening, the boy beat his fist in his palm and let out a shout.
“Oh! The Academy! Why didn’t I think of that?”
It wasn’t the Academy itself that he was talking about but the method through which he had managed to graduate: by stealing the Scroll of Sealing and learning the Kage Bunshin technique from it.
“If Kakashi-sensei won’t train me, then I’ll just have to solve the problem myself!”
Giddy with excitement, he forgot all about his tiredness and burst out of his apartment, breaking into a run towards the Hokakge’s residence.
Half an hour later, Naruto was hiding in a logger’s cabin on the outskirts of Konoha, with a large scroll spread all over the hardwood floor.
Half a year ago, as an Academy student who had yet to even graduate, he had managed to sneak past the ANBU operatives protecting the Hokage’s residence and steal the Scroll of Seals. The old Hokage did happen to catch him red-handed, but Naruto managed to slip away by surprising him with his Oiroke no Jutsu.
This time around, he didn’t need to resort to any petty tricks. Not only that the ANBU didn’t notice him at all, but Sandaime Hokage didn’t get wind of his misdeed either.
‘With a bit of luck, I might learn this new jutsu and put the Scroll back in its place without anybody noticing a thing.’
As luck would have it, as he perused the Scroll of Seals, wanting to see all the jutsus in it before choosing one, his eyes fell on a particular technique: “The Summoning Jutsu”.
The old man who had beaten up Ebisu may have been a disgraceful pervert, but Naruto could not deny his strength. So impressed he had been by his ‘big frog’ summon that he stopped reading the rest of the scroll and decided right away what Jutsu he was going to learn next.
He let out an evil chuckle.
“Huhuhu! Can’t wait to see Sasuke’s face when I summon a giant frog and kick his ass!”
His chuckle turned into loud and obnoxious laughter as fantasies of Sasuke falling to his knees in front of him, begging for mercy, and Sakura proclaiming her undying love and admiration for him filled his head.
Three hours later, having studied the intricacies of the technique from the scroll and having practised the sequence of hand seals many times, Naruto decided to give it a go.
Turning off the flashlight he used for reading, Naruto cautiously opened the door and peeked outside. He waited for nearly half a minute, listening intently to make sure nobody was around.
Convinced that he had not been found yet, he stepped out of the house in order to test out the technique. After all, he couldn’t do it in the cabin; what if he summoned a giant frog that couldn’t fit inside?
Biting his thumb to the point where he drew blood, the boy formed the five hand seals required for the Summoning Jutsu.
Boar -> Dog -> Bird -> Monkey -> Ram.
“Kuchiyose no Jutsu!” he shouted as he placed his hand on the ground.
Black symbols spread out from his palm in eight directions and formed a circle around his hand. Then, a plume of smoke filled the air.
However, there were no giant toads stepping out of the smoke. There was nothing. Even the boy himself could not be seen anymore. He had vanished.

“Wake up!”
A deep voice rang in his head so loudly that he groaned in discomfort as he was shaken awake.
“Shut up! I don’t have any missions today. I’m going to sleep in!” Naruto said tiredly.
“Wake up, brat!”
“Quit your whining, will you?” Naruto said in annoyance and turned to his other side.
When he rolled his body, a feeling of coldness and wetness washed over his skin. But, more importantly,
“Wait, who the heck are you??!” he suddenly jumped up and shouted in a panic.
After all, he lived alone; he had done so for years, since before he knew how to read and write. There was nobody to nag him, nobody to talk to him, and nobody to wake him up in the morning.
After letting out that shout, he glanced around himself. That was definitely not his home. Sure, his radiator was rather old and didn’t work too well, but it was summer now so it was not needed since it never got cold at that time of the year in the Land of Fire. And the water pipe in the kitchen may have started to leak a few days ago, but it couldn’t have flooded his place to the point where the water pooled up to his ankles.
Then he saw the enormous gates with metal bars as thick as his own body and two gigantic, slit, crimson-red eyes staring at him from the darkness beyond the gate.
A node appeared in his neck. He knew instinctually who the creature beyond the gate was. He looked at his hands with an expression of awe on his face.
“I did it! I really did! My jutsu summoned the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox!”
He let out a whooping sound of excitement and pumped his fist in the air… …only for a roar of rage to almost sweep him off his feet and douse his excitement like a bucket of ice-cold water.
Naruto let out a short laugh when the tailed beast stepped out into the light and he saw how massive it was. That was not a laughter of amusement.
‘Haha… I’m finished.’
“There are many things I’d like to say, you stupid brat. And many more that I would want to do. I’d like nothing more than to rip you to shreds! But we don’t have time. You need to wake up, in the real world. And you have to do it fast, or we are both going to die!”

He did not know how he did it, but Naruto did wake up. The first thing he noticed was a painful sensation coming from his wrists and ankles.
“W-What’s going on?” he stammered.
His hands and feet were tied with thick ropes to a stick, which was being carried on the shoulders of two… creatures. For he couldn’t call them humans. They were green-skinned, very tall, and muscular; they had sharp and extremely long ears and two elephant-like tusks came out of their mouths. Naruto had never seen anything like them before.
“Oy. Oy! Where are you taking me? Let me go!”
He started struggling and yanking his arms and legs with all his might, but, for some reason, he couldn’t muster any strength. He did not know it, but he had been poisoned.
“Hey! Help! Help!” he started yelling.
But the creatures carrying him said something in a language he couldn’t understand, and one of them slammed its massive fist into his ribs. He got hit so hard that he couldn’t breathe. His body involuntarily spasmed and attempted to curl up in pain. The weakened state of his body, coupled with the agonizing pain, made him black out.
By the time he regained consciousness, Naruto realised that he was no longer being carried around. Whoever had captured him had arrived at their destination.
Now, his entire body was very tightly tied to a stick that was standing horizontally, supported by two other vertical sticks. Furthermore, they had ripped off all his clothes, leaving him buck-naked.
In his position, he couldn’t see much of his surroundings. But he could tell he must be in the middle of a village of savages because there were only wooden huts with roofs made of leaves around.
When he saw two green-skinned humanoid creatures coming over with some wood and starting to make a circle of river stones below him, a terrifying thought came to his mind.
‘...Don’t tell me!’
His doubts disappeared when he saw a flame forming in one of the green creature’s hands and lighting the wooden logs on fire.
‘They’re going to eat me! These savages are really going to kill me and eat me!’
The fear of death made adrenaline course through his veins, and, for a brief moment, Naruto managed to sense his chakra.
‘I don’t want to die!’
He had to participate in the chunin exams and teach Neji a lesson he would never forget. He had to defeat Sasuke in the finals and become a chunin.
‘I won’t die here! I can’t die here!’
He was going to make everyone acknowledge his existence! He couldn’t die in such a place, roasted alive over a campfire and eaten by green monsters! He had sworn that he would become the Hokage!
His desperation did not go unanswered. Just as the flames engulfed the wooden logs and the fire started touching his skin, a crimson-red cloak of chakra enveloped him.
The thick ropes tying him to the stick were melted off by the corrosive chakra, and the creatures around him let out shouts of surprise when their food suddenly escaped.
Their surprise turned into caution when they took note of the vile energy coming from the human boy and noticed his features becoming feral. His eyes turned red, his face gained thick, whisker-like marks, his teeth turned into fangs, the nails of his hands became long and sharp like claws, and he stood on all fours, like a beast.
One of the tusked creatures grabbed a large war axe and lunged at him, raising the barbaric weapon with two hands above his head to deliver a crushing blow.
A crimson tail of chakra grew from Naruto’s back and parried the mighty axe strike. Before the green-skinned creature could react, his chakra-coated hand clawed at its torso, leaving a deep, gushing with blood wound on its flesh.
However, instead of being terrified by witnessing their comrade’s brutal and gory death, the other humanoid monsters all grabbed their spears, swords, and axes and lunged at him with deafening warcries.
“You’re still poisoned. Don’t fight, you won’t last long! Run!”
Naruto didn’t know why the Nine-Tailed Fox was being that helpful to him all of a sudden, but he was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. If not for his help, he would have been cooked alive and eaten by monsters.
The tail-like chakra appendage enlarged and swept his surroundings in a circular fashion, smashing away all those savages who were about to lunge at him.
“Run, brat! Run, or you’ll get us both killed!”
Not a second after Kyuubi’s words ended, a throwing axe made a violent wooshing sound, and it would have decapitated Naruto if he had not ducked in the nick of time. He jumped away from his spot just as two arrows whistled through the air and sank deeply into the ground.
The humanoid monsters shouted something that Naruto couldn’t understand, but he didn’t stay around to find out. He grabbed the large war axe of the first creature that he killed and then bolted away, jumping into the large trees surrounding the barbarians’ village.
More arrows and throwing axes whooshed and whistled through the air, sinking deeply into the trunks and branches of the trees as the creatures chased after him on foot. However, none of those could reach their mark. Shinobi-jumping from one tree branch to another, Naruto quickly left them in the dust.
He was exhausted, dizzy, and nauseous, but Naruto forced himself to run at the fastest speed he was capable of, as if his very life were on the line. In his poisoned state, if not for Kyuubi’s chakra, he would have collapsed a long time ago. He ran deeper into the mountains, deep into the thick and ancient forest.
After running for what felt like half an hour, he stopped on a branch and sat down, leaning with his back against the trunk of the tree. His feet were bruised and bleeding from desperately running bare-footed and the bark of the ancient tree felt like shards of glass on the skin of his back, but he couldn’t bring himself to care about that.
“Don’t close your eyes,” Kyuubi spoke to him when he looked like he was about to fall asleep. “Search for some water. You need to drink water as soon as possible. It will help slow down the poison in your system.”
Naruto groaned, and he stood up with difficulty.
“You’re lucky they wanted to eat you; they needed you to be edible, so the poison they gave you was to tranquillize you, not kill you.”
“Gee, lucky me. Who wouldn’t want to be eaten alive by monsters?” Naruto grumbled.
He put his hands in a cross seal and made three shadow clones. Normally, he could create hundreds of clones, but three clones was the best he could do in his current state.
“Alright, everyone. Look around for a river or a lake. And if you find any animals that look like they’d be good to eat, hunt them down too. Let’s all meet in this place again after one hour.”
“Yes, boss!” the clones replied before spreading out in different directions.
He picked up a direction too and started running again, though at a more moderate pace this time.
“Hey, Kyuubi. Why are you helping me?” Naruto asked.
He had never talked to the fox before. He had not even known that his body housed the Kyuubi until a few months ago, when Mizuki, the traitor, revealed that fact to him. Nevertheless, it was a well-known fact in Konoha that the Nine-Tailed Fox was evil. It had killed thousands of innocent people 13 years ago, so Naruto wasn’t quite sure why the demon was being nice to him.
His question was met with silence. When he started thinking that the Fox chose to ignore him, Kyuubi replied:
“I simply don’t want to die. If you die, I will die too. That’s all there is to it.”
“But I’ve been in danger many times before. You never spoke to me until now.”
The fox let out a growl.
“I don’t know how you did it, human brat, but you screwed us both.”
Naruto stopped running, surprised by his words. His surprise turned into shock when he heard Kyuubi’s following words.
“We aren’t in the Ninja World anymore.”
“W-What do you mean by that?”
“I meant exactly what I said. We aren’t in Konoha. We aren’t in the Land of Fire. We aren’t on the continent of the Elemental Nations. We are not in the Ninja World anymore.”
Naruto laughed.
“Hahaha! Even tailed beasts have a sense of humour! You almost got me scared there for a moment.”
Kyuubi growled in irritation.
“Stupid brat! Have you ever seen creatures like the ones who tried to eat you alive just now? Have you ever heard any of the older shinobi and kunoichi say any stories about them?”
“But that doesn’t mean-”
“What did you think was going to happen if you used the Summoning Technique without signing a contract with a summoning clan?” Kyuubi snapped at him. “That’s right, you didn’t think! You never think and always get in trouble for it! And now you doomed not only yourself but you screwed me over too!”
Kyuubi was a fraction of Juubi, the Ten-Tailed Beast, who, in turn, was the embodiment of the planet’s energy. The bijuu were attuned to nature and to the planet. That was why they could never be killed for good and why they always came back to life, reforming out of thin air.
However, the fox could not feel any connection to this place. It was unfamiliar. The energy of the place was different. It seemed more… raw. Stronger. Denser. Almost overwhelming.
Besides, Kyuubi had lived for over 1000 years, and he had never been sealed until Hashirama came around. In his long life, he had never seen or heard of any other creatures like the monsters that had almost killed his jinchuuriki a while ago. He could tell with certainty that this was no longer the world he knew.

The boy’s first reaction after hearing Kyuubi say that they were in a different world was disbelief and distrust. However, as hours passed and his clones returned to him with news of the place they scouted, his distrust turned into confusion and apprehension.
What was he supposed to do now? After all, he was only 13 years old, and, leaving aside the mission to the Wave Country, Naruto had never stepped out of his village.
‘Only two weeks left until the finals of the Chunin Exams,’ Naruto thought idly as he used a makeshift spear to hunt fish in a clear stream.
Before graduating from the Academy, seeing as he was an orphan, Naruto lived off the money that the Hokage gave him every month. However, he was just a child; he did not know how to use that sum to last him the whole month. Most of his money was gone in the first half of the month, splurged on ramen. After that, he was forced to go hunting, fishing, or foraging for wild berries and mushrooms.
That being said, for better or worse, Naruto was no stranger to surviving in the wild. In his current situation, his rough and poverty-stricken upbringing turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
Now, he was wearing a sort of skirt made of a lion-like creature’s maroon pelt around his waist and some crude shoes made from the same material. They were not comfortable (far from that) but they were better than being barefoot and stark naked.
He let out a grunt as he quickly stabbed the spear into the water, nailing a fish perfectly. With his superhuman speed and reaction time, spearing fish posed little to no difficulty for him.
‘But how would I go back home? Where am I even?’
Over the past two weeks, he had roamed the area for a radius of 15-20 kilometres around his initial position, but he had yet to find any people.
‘Say, Kurama, what if there are no other humans in this world? What should I do?’
Since coming to this new world, the Fox started talking to Naruto quite often. He had even told the boy his real name.
“I don’t know. But you can’t stay here forever. You need to try going West.”
“Easier said than done. Those monsters are everywhere in the West.”
From the time he spent scouting, Naruto got a rough understanding of the place he was in: he was in a vast mountain range, seemingly on the Eastern coast of a continent, because he had walked eastwards up until he came out of the mountain range and saw a vast, endless sea.
To the west, the green, tusked, humanoid monsters were spread in large, densely populated villages. He had also seen an intimidating citadel in the distance; it was a city swarming with more of those creatures than he could count. There had to be tens of thousands of them.
“If you could sneak past those ANBU to steal the Scroll of Seals, you can sneak past these monsters too.”
“ANBU didn’t have lion pets who can sniff out my scent for miles,” Naruto retorted as she speared a second fish and placed it on a large leaf next to the other one. “And there weren’t thousands of them either.”
Sure, he could make a few hundred clones and spread them out all over the place, creating mass confusion among the creatures' ranks, and slip away in the middle of that tumult. However, he was anxious about what lied in wait for him after he managed to slip past the green creatures. What if, beyond the strip of mountains inhabited by those savages, there was an even worse race of creatures?
After his latest blunder of summoning himself into a completely different world, Naruto took Kyuubi’s scolding to heart and began using his head more. He could not afford to jump headfirst into things and mess up again. He wanted to live. He wanted to live and find a way to return to Konoha one day.
A bright look appeared in his eyes as he suddenly got an idea.
“What if I’m going to use a Henge but also-”
“Finally started using your brain?”
“That’s not the important part! Listen to me!” Naruto whined. “A Henge won’t fool the noses of those lions. But what if I smelled like those green creatures? I’m going to steal some of their clothes.”
“That’s actually not a bad idea,” Kyuubi answered. “Make sure you also rub some mud all over your skin to remove your scent so that only the scent of the green creature’s clothes remains.”
Excited by the sudden idea he had just gotten, Naruto was too impatient to continue fishing and cooking. He wrapped the two fish he had hunted in the large leaf and dug a hole into the ground, burying them to save them up for later.
Then, he hung his makeshift spear into his favourite tree (the one where he liked to sleep at night) and grabbed the large war axe that he had stolen from the first creature he had killed.
The dual-bladed axe’s handle was was so thick that his childish hands couldn’t fully grasp it and even longer than he was tall. In a way, it reminded Naruto of Zabuza’s gigantic cleaver, the Kubikiribocho. It was a crude and barbaric weapon that looked like it had been made for giants but it was the only proper weapon that he had.
Hoisting the large war axe on his shoulder, the blonde started heading towards the closest village of the green monsters, shinobi-jumping from one tree to another at a very high speed.

AN: the idea of using the Summoning Jutsu to send himself into another world was inspired by the canon. Jiraiya, who didn't have a contract, accidentally summoned himself to Mount Myoboku when he used the Summoning Technique. In this fic, Naruto sent himself to Azeroth.

It is mentioned in the following chapters that Orochimaru did do thing to him There is no actual solution for it though. Naruto will just have to work through it

Hey just wondering in canon Orochimaru used 5 element seal on Naruto and Jiraya had to undo it for him to control his chakra properly and access Kyubi chakra. Here it is not clear whether he did something about it or not.

Excited to read my first Naruto/Wow story, only ever read a HP/Wow one. Not a great fan of Canon Naruto’s but I’ll endure, especially with the Authors note explaining he will develop in a smarter direction which can’t go quick enough for me hehe

I know what you mean. There are some HP/WoW fic but they are mostly smut. As for Naruto/WoW there are much fewer fics and not that great It's why I decided to write a fic for it myself 😄

There are no strict classes in the lore (unlike the game), so i'll have naruto pick up various skills from multiple classes, such a rogue, warrior, hunter etc. Naruto will know some jutsu too, but not that many. His focus will be more on the magic and abilities from wow
