People who want unity must extend it first. People who want civility must extend it first. Otherwise, "unity" and "civility" are weapons wielded by those calling for it, that way they can continue to bludgeon democracy and the marginalized to death. If you're in the middle of a boxing match, dropping your defense when your opponent says, "Let's stop punching each other," will get you KO'd. Tolerance can only exist as long as it is intolerant of intolerance.

Trump can and did have an immediate effect on inflation. Tariffs almost instantly affect inflation. Also things like large swaths of the chicken population having to be destroyed leads to instant egg shortages followed immediately by skyrocketing prices which does have an almost immediate effect on inflation. To REDUCE inflation takes time and a slow and steady approach- JUST LIKE BIDEN WAS DOING!

Actually, since Covid…. public schools have been hiring teachers that are in the middle of getting their license still… technically hiring unlicensed teachers. Disabled students will not be able to attend school or access public funded therapy in schools when republicans privatize education.
