You're not wrong, but you won't make 1 iota of progress if you call it socialism. You're going to either have to repackage that idea, rebrand it or spend billions on propaganda like the right has to get the knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing masses to embrace fascism the way they have.

How do you go through all this without saying "socialism"? What solution do you see besides socialism? America loves the military. What do we give soldiers? Northern European socialist protections- 30 days paid leave, mat/paternity leave, free health care, housing subsidies, food subsidies, clothing allowances, life insurance, free education for self and family. When America values folks, they give them socialist benefits. Let's get them for everyone. Stop pretending that capitalism isn't the problem.
