No idea why, but if you need to euthanize a fish, but it in a glass or a small aquarium and put a few drops of clove oil in the water and you instantly have an ex-fish

So I have done an ice bath a few times. Most recently after a car accident where I was rear ended. My legs and back were killing me. I followed it with a cuddle under a heated blanket, it did help quite a bit,

There's a few identifiable fish illnesses that you can treat with medicines from a pet store. A lot of stuff you learn from experience/other fish keepers. I haven't personally taken a fish to the vet but I absolutely would if I needed to.
