Story #153: Beach Bum (Part 2)
(Chapter 17 to 'From Cool to Drool')

Jaydyn had waded back to the shore with a mushy bottom. He was getting too harassed in the water, so he was going to try his luck in the sand instead. He could build castles and search for seashells, which would be hopefully a less social way to pass the time for this little beach day.
He had to toddle his way back to his mother, who had been lounging on the towel in the sun. That's where the plastic pail had been left, and he'd need it to collect treasures along the shore.
His mother turned her head, "Hey, sweetie. I thought you were playing in the water with your brother?"
"Mm...Gonna get shells." He meekly replied, bending down to pick up the pail and tooting himself in the process.
"Is your diapee doing okay?"
She'd changed him when they first arrived and he hadn't been in the swimming garment for longer than thirty minutes yet. Still, he'd also already let a large bowel movement drop into the back of it, so the question had merit to being asked.
"Yuh-huh..." He blushed, picking the bucket up by the handle and standing straight back up. "It okay."
"I better make sure." The woman insisted.
She sat up and gestured for her mentally incompetent son to toddle closer to her, which he begrudgingly obliged. She grabbed the back of his swimming outfit and squeezed his messy bottom, which made the fresh load squish and smear further against his bottom.
"Uh-oh! I think someone made a big stinky for mommy." She playfully teased, as if Jaydyn was three and not eleven. His face reddened at the accusation and she let go of him.
"I think you still have room in there, honey. I want you to come back when you've gone poo-poo again, okay? There's not enough poo-poo in there for mommy to change yet."
His mother dipped in and out of how she spoke to him. Sometimes she had a little more respect for his dignity and seemed to remember how old he really was, but other times like today, she just couldn't seem to help herself in thinking that her eldest son was a baby once again. She gave him a few gentle pats on his squishy diaper and then went back to her prone position to soak up the sun.
"Now go have some more fun."
"...Yes, mommy."
With an embarrassed look on his face, the boy set back toward the place where the shore and the sea met. The tide was what would bring in the most treasures, so that was where he needed to be. He saw a pretty conch shell, so he started by putting that in the bucket.
That would be his objective for a while, to collect seashells and other such nice things he could use for sandcastle construction. It was somewhat dull, but also undeniably peaceful; it helped him to forget all about the humiliation he had earlier endured.
He went up and down the coast, while making sure to never stray too far from his mother's range of sight. The woman had become so overprotective of him since his accident and he didn't want to catch an earful about safety; it made him appreciate how much freedom he had really had as a normal kid.
That freedom was something he still often longed for. The idea that he could simply say he was leaving the house and only being told what time to be home; contrast that to earlier in the week, when she hadn't even let him walk to Jesse's house without his brother to escort him.
It made him feel small and it made it seem like he was incapable of keeping himself safe. It made him feel as mentally incompetent as everyone already saw him as. Just a clueless, helpless retard that stumbled around and pooed repeatedly in his giant diapers.
Which, speaking of...
The blond boy had to briefly stop in place as he squatted down to pick up a shell to put in the bucket. It was beyond his control, or lack thereof, to stop it from happening; he froze and started to grunt.
"Nnnghh...M-make poo-brownie in diapee..." He stammered reflexively between grunts, at least having his verbal tick at a much quieter level than usual.
His bowels heaved of their own accord and he started to lay a large steamer into the back of his swim diaper, to join the simmering mush already packed back there. Some flatulence spewed forward too and acted as a propellant to launch the giant turd into his diaper like a rocket-powered missle.
Drool stained his chin and panted in relief from the log cramming itself into then back of his puffy swimming suit. It felt incredible in every way but his pride, just like most times he soiled himself. He shook his butt a few times, just to make sure the loaf was properly pinched, and then he stood back up straight like nothing had happened.
Most people on the beach were too self-absorbed to be watching Jaydyn all that closely. Besides, to anyone older than him, it should have clearly looked like he was 'special needs'. His swimsuit was more like a romper, and there was no avoiding the major diaper bulge he was sporting, since he had both a swim diaper on and the added bulk of the built-in diaper in the swimsuit.
With fresh luggage in the trunk, Jaydyn made his way back toward where his mom was. He wasn't such a wuss that he'd be trying to seek security within her bubble of influence, but he wanted to be close enough to where he could swiftly seek her out if his diaper felt like it was getting too full.
Jaydyn found a nice spot near a tide pool, where it was too small and shallow to draw the attention of anyone but the littlest of kids, and where he'd also be able to use some of the water to firm up his sand.
He dropped his bucket and then his hiney. The poop in his diaper hadn't been sat in yet and it audibly squelched underneath him as the weight of his butt made it spread in all directions. Unsurprisingly, it was a very calming feeling and he felt himself getting bubbly. The boy smiled and gyrated his butt in the sand a few times, before he picked his shovel up out of the bucket and decided to get to work.
There wasn't any particular vision he had for the sandcastle; Jaydyn wasn't ever really the artistic type. No, he'd been a thrill-seeker and an athlete. He'd probably done more 'art' in the last few months than he'd done outside of school in years; it was a way to help improve his fine motor skills, which had suffered greatly from his accident.
When he was in the hospital, he'd been told to use his crayons a little bit each day, to start building up that control. Funnily enough, his art skills had already been so bad, that they hadn't degraded by that much. He could do stick figures with DBZ hair and swords that more approximated pool noodles.
Sculpting with sand wasn't something he'd done in a couple of years. He was usually more focused on the water when they came to the beach, with trying to surf on his boogie-board. Now, these days, he was dealing with a very different kind of 'boogie' situation.
He'd give it his best shot regardless, as it wasn't like he had to prove his artistic skills to anyone, and this was just to kill some time. Perhaps if he did well enough, then his mother would think a little higher of his intelligence. The bucket went upside down to empty it of its shells into a pile, and then Jaydyn started to pack the bucket full of sand with the shovel.
In little time, he had three little 'towers' of sand, from using the bucket like a mold. He began to use his finger to gently sculpt the shape into something a little more elegant, before using the shells he had collected as scaffolding and decoration. He got so mentally invested that he totally forgot about his poopy diaper or the ridiculous way that he was dressed.
Others weren't so oblivious however. Not long after Jaydyn had locked in to the task at hand, there was some splashing coming from the little tide pool that he was stationed by. As he would have expected, it was a few smaller kids who were having fun in the shallow spot, probably in the range of four to seven years old.
Not much reason for concern, at least not yet. They could do their dumb baby stuff, splashing and giggling in the water, and he'd keep his eyes on the sand in front of him.
Until they started talking:
"It smells like poo-poo."
"Murphy's prolly gotta dookie in his diaper!"
"Do not!"
"Then why does it smell like poop?"
"You should go tell your mommy about his diapee."
"I din't make a poopie!"
"Oh yeah? Well maybe I should check and see!"
The conversation was sharp and accusatory. The context being that the bigger kids were smelling something ripe and blaming the youngest of the boys, who apparently still wore swim diapers like Jaydyn did.
"...He's telling the truth, there's nothin' in his Lil' Swimmers." A girl announced after pulling on his waistband and finding nothing nestled against his rear.
"Told ya!"
"Well it has to be comin' from somewhere!"
"Maybe one'a you big kids made a poopie!" The preschooler turned things around.
"Don't be stupid, Murphy. Big kids don't do that. Only dumb, stinky little babies do that. Like you."
Jaydyn was zoning in and out of their conversation. They were loud enough that he couldn't properly ignore them, and they kept talking about poop, which his brain had been rewired to latch onto. It was obvious that they were talking about him, even if they didn't realize it. They were smelling the fumes of his dirtied diaper and laying the blame on someone more fitting.
They probably had barely even registered that Jaydyn was there. He was older than all of them and being very quiet, so it was possible that he'd blended into the scenery, even if his stench hadn't.
"Well, if it isn't babypants here, then who is it?" The girl spoke up again, folding her arms.
The two other boys, who both looked a little older than the preschooler, looked immediately defensive. "Maybe it's *you*, Katie!"
"Girls don't do *that*. We're not gross like you boys."
"Yeah, well we don't do it either. We're not stupid like you girls." The oldest of the boys sneered.
"Yeah! Me and Andy are too smart to dookie our pants." The middle boy folded his arms.
It was amusing to listen to it, and even more-so when knowing that he was the source of their bickering. He'd never been much of a shit-stirrer, but he couldn't deny the entertainment that it was providing.
While the older kids squabbled amongst themselves about who the culprit must be, the already 'cleared' preschooler had lost interest. It didn't look like there would be an answer anytime soon, so he'd waded over to the edge of the tide pool, where Jaydyn was situated.
"That's a really big castle."
Jaydyn smiled sheepishly, his eyes partially obscured by the large hat he had on. "Uh-huh."
Murphy climbed out completely of the tide pool and walked over to the castle; his Lil' Swimmers poked out the back of his poorly fitted speedo. If anything, his bathing suit looked more like a diaper cover, or at least functioned that way. Jaydyn couldn't tease him though, since he'd worn briefs over his massive Abenas before, which looked equally ridiculous.
The preschooler squatted down to get a better look at the castle and his nose twitched. It was undeniable that the smell was stronger over here. He gave Jaydyn a suspicious look and tried to calculate the feasibility of a kid this big being a pantspooper.
"That's a weird swim suit." Murphy expressed, gesturing at the 'romper' that the older boy had on.
"Yours too." Jaydyn snipped back with a frown, "I can see yur' diapee."
The smaller boy looked a little embarrassed and tried to pull the speedo up a bit, as if he could somehow make it fit better on the diaper. "Did you poop your pants?"
It was far more bold of a question than Jaydyn had anticipated. As it turned out, four year olds had little concept of a filter, and Murphy didn't think twice about speaking his mind. He thought Jaydyn smelled like poop, so he was going to ask about it.
Jaydyn looked flustered and he fidgeted in place. "N-noo! I-I dun' do that."
Murphy looked unconvinced and he cocked his head back to see if his group had quit their argument yet. "That's what they all said. They said big kids don't do that, but you smell really bad like poopie."
He turned his head back toward Jaydyn, "M'pretty sure you got a poo in your swimsuit. A stinky one."
The tone was less one of mockery and more one of solidarity, as if he was talking to a peer. The statement was devoid of judgment, it was just stating the facts.
"...M-maybe..." Jaydyn mewled quietly.
"Do you got a diapee on? Your butt looks kinda big, like you got a diapee on."
The blond nodded slowly and tried to go back to his sandcastle. He'd just admitted that he was a diaper boy to this little brat, but he didn't feel afraid that the kid would throw him under the bus.
"I din't know diapees got as big as that. Do you hate the potty too? I hate the potty. Does your mommy not yell at you for pooing yourself?" Murphy was a little chatterbox and Jaydyn wasn't sure where to start with answers.
Jaydyn did make an effort though. He quietly conversed with the boy for a few minutes, giving sanitized answers as to why he was wearing a diaper and why he had pooped in it. It felt easy to talk to a stranger who didn't think less of the mentally handicapped boy for his pantsfilling.
Suddenly, a powerful fart reverberated throughout the back of the mushy diaper and Jaydyn felt compelled to lean forward. His cheeks got red and he began to make an absolute disaster in his diaper; it was a typhoon of bubbling, magmatic sludge. The sound was sloppy, like something exaggerated out of a cartoon, and it left Murphy in stitches from laughing so hard.
"You jus' essploded!" Murphy exclaimed between fits of giggles.
That was a pretty good summation of things. His prior loads had been pretty firm, but now it felt like he had a gallon of warm mud in his pants. It felt heavenly and smelled awful.
"I think we should check Murphy again, you were pretty quick before..."
The sounds of the other kids were getting closer and it was obvious that they'd soon discover that the source of the smell was someone completely unexpected.
"Oh, that's my sissy an' cousins...They're gonna find out you poopied yourself."
It was too late to effectively flee. "N-no...P-please help..."
Murphy looked sympathetic. He hadn't known Jaydyn long, but the two had bonded over their mutual failure with the potty. He knew it must be really embarrassing for a bigger kid to be in diapers, since he got embarrassed about his own, so he decided to take the bullet.
The younger boy squatted back down and began to grunt. It took a moment for anything fruitful to occur, but the back of his speedo began to bulge out with a dull crackle. After another moment, Murphy pinched the loaf and felt his diaper with his hand, as if appraising his handiwork.
"Oh, eww, it *really* stinks over here. Murphy, stop bugging that big kid and come over here. We gotta check you again."
Murphy offered Jaydyn a smile and toddled off to his group, his gait widened by the pile he'd made to keep Jaydyn from shame. One pull of the waistband later and Murphy was being chastised and being pulled away to go get changed by his mother.
Likewise, his own mother had made her way over to him, since he'd let time get the better of him. "Sweetie, we're going to go get some lunch on the pier. Oh, what a pretty sandcastle you made! And..." She sniffed the air around him, "...I think you made something else, didn't you?"
He stood up, his swimsuit badly sagging, and he took his mother's hand. She would go and get him changed in the car, probably back into his normal diaper and clothes, and then they'd go get something yummy to eat.
It'd started off rocky, but today hadn't been that bad of a beach day.
