Tale #118: Rude Rudy (Part 1)

It was another lazy Sunday around the house for Rudy; lazy enough that he'd not bothered in dressing in more than his socks and his training pants.
His plastic pants rustled loudly when he walked and they looked silly to wear over the bulky cloth trainers. His mother, having become again frustrated with his accident-prone nature, had decided to shift away from the disposable realm and try a hand at the reusable one. Cost was likely a factor, or perhaps the idea that the cloth trainers would be less comfortable to use than the disposable, which would hypothetically steer Rudy toward using the toilet more.
No matter what the reason, it was what he was wearing. Rudy didn't particularly like them, but he wasn't too put off by them either. His biggest complaints thus far was that they were more cumbersome, they were louder and that they got too warm. Ironically, it also made it just a little harder for him to use the potty. It was an extra layer that he had to pull down.
With it still being warm and muggy outside, and then with the difficulty mentioned with the layers, it made the boy okay to be wandering the house without anything else to cover the garment up. His siblings were used to his shamelessly infantile garments and strutting, so it wasn't as if he really needed to hide it.
The lack of pants was also a preference for the little boy's parents, at least here at home, since it made it easier to check on the status of his trainers. Rudy wasn't always the most honest about such matters, especially whenever the delusion struck him that he could somehow hide an accident.
That was another stark difference between a disposable and something reusable; Rudy couldn't just throw away the cloth training briefs if he made a big poopie in them. It made his accident chart all the more accurate, which really made him look worse. Would Rudy ever stop pooping his pants? All the other first graders had, for the most part.
It wasn't like Rudy enjoyed messing himself; it was just something he seemed to be incapable of stopping from happening. He still used the toilet like a big kid, and it was probably upwards of seventy percent of the time! But that other thirty percent was too troubling to discount, and it was almost entirely poopy accidents. That was also just daytime accidents, since he was also wetting the bed almost every night, and on rarer occasions, messing the bed too.
Regardless of his shaky future with toileting, the boy was going to try to enjoy his day. He'd already spent the morning bugging his older brother, which was typical for the brat; Nick had all sorts of fun 'big kid' toys and games, and Rudy enjoyed having a playmate, at least until Nick tired of him.
That was the average sibling relationship at this age, for a fourth grader like Nick to be willing to play with a first grader like Rudy, but only until Rudy got a little too annoying. That usually only took an hour or so, and of course depended on how nice Nick felt like being in the first place.
Nick was just as likely to push him around and tease him, than he was to play with the younger boy. Still, Rudy looked up to him, so the brotherly abuse was something he was always willing to overlook.
As it was though, Nick needed a 'break' from Rudy and had sent him packing, so that Nick could play some online games in peace. So Rudy had made his way to the kitchen for an afternoon snack; his mother had checked the state of his trainers on the way, and he'd been proud to report that he was still clean!
This was already the third day in a row for him so far. A couple of more days and he'd beat his record for consecutive days without pooing his pants!
His snack of choice was a classic, and luckily it'd already been made for him: ants on a log. Several cut pieces of celery, loaded with peanut butter, and then adorned with raisins. It was fun and it was tasty! He got himself a Capri Sun to go with the bounty on the paper plate and he'd headed into the living room to watch some toons.
While eating, his older sister had been pacing around on her phone. She was loud and Rudy got irritated at how rude she was being, since he couldn't hear his show! He turned up the volume, but so did she; he tried to speak up, to tell her to take it to another room, and she 'shushed' him!
"Don't be rude, Rudy. I'm on the phone!"
It was maddening and Rudy was sure he'd been too distracted by the girlish chatter to catch all the juvenile jokes on the screen. Mercifully, the phone call soon ended and Joanna said: "Okay, see you soon!"
"Are ya done now? I'm tryin' to watch TV!"
His sister looked down at him and put her phone back in her pocket, "You've got it way too loud, Rudy. I could barely hear Melissa on the phone."
Rudy got red, "I turned it up because you were bein' super loud!"
The older girl shook her head and grabbed the remote from the arm of the couch; she turned the volume way down and then put it back where she'd found it. "Look, I'm going to have some friends over, and we're going to be using the living room."
"But I just got here! It's my turn." Rudy fussed, his mouth smeared with peanut butter.
"Yeah, well we need the TV. We're watching the season finale of 'Blood and Bonds'."
Rudy made a face. He was aware of the show and couldn't say he was a fan, not that he would be allowed to watch it anyway. He'd thought it was something cool and violent, but it turned out that his sister was gushing over some mushy love story with vampires that didn't even look scary!
"That's not fair though! I wanna watch a new episode of 'Super Duper Diaper Babies'!" He retorted, referring to an exceptionally immature cartoon about toddlers with super powers, for which the toilet humor was nonstop.
Joanna put her hands on her hips, "You can just go look in the mirror for that, Rudy. I can't wait to see the finale later, because everyone will already be spoiling it! I need to see if Alucard gets with Vincent or Viera..."
The boy got red in the face again and he sat up on his knees with a crinkle. "Eww, so gross!"
"Coming from the kid that sits in his own poop? Maybe I should tell Kara to bring her baby brother so that you'll have a playmate; he likes to sit in his own icky diapers too, but he's two."
Rudy scowled, "I've gone three days without an accident, Joanna! You can't make funna' me!"
The older girl couldn't help but roll her eyes at her baby brother's 'accomplishment'. "My friends are going to be here soon, Rudy. You need to go be a pest somewhere else, and go put on some clothes while you're at it. I doubt my friends want to see my little brother's underwear, or whatever you'd call those things."
The little blond simmered in place quietly for a moment, before squeaking: "...No!"
"MOM! DAD! RUDY'S BEING A BRAT!" The young teen hollered.
It was their father that would come into the room first, "What's the issue here? What's your brother doing?"
"She's tryin' to steal the TV! It's my turn!"
"I invited my friends over to watch a really important show and Rudy won't leave the living room."
Their father looked between the two of them, "Well, let's see...Rudy was in here first, but you need the TV for you and your friends. Hmm..."
Coming right behind him was their mother, "What are they bickering about?"
"The TV."
She wagged her finger at the pair, "If you two can't get along, then nobody gets the TV!"
"Mom! I invited the girls over to watch something! It'll just be for a couple of hours and then Rudy can have it later."
Their father sighed, "Look, Rudy was here first, but I get what you're saying. You can have the TV for you and your friends, but next time you need to talk to me or your mother about planning stuff like this..."
"We were just on our way to tell you that we are going down the street to meet the new neighbors, so we need you to watch over Rudy and Nick." Their mother added, still putting her earrings in.
Joanna had looked smugly victorious when her father had taken her side, but then her spirit immediately fell from her mother's news. "But mom..."
"Butts are for sitting, missy. Just keep an eye on your little brothers and you can have your little viewing party, okay? Your father and I will even order a couple of pizzas for you kids."
Their mother's tone made it clear that this wasn't negotiable. That meant Rudy had to yield the living room and that Joanna was officially on babysitting duty for the next few hours.
"We'll only be down the street, so if anything happens, we'll be close." Their mother added, while their father went over to Rudy and gently lifted him off of the couch.
"Be good for your sister, okay? And remember to go to the bathroom if you feel like you need to go."
"Okay, daddy. I will." Rudy glumly replied, only moderately excited by the silver lining of pizza on the horizon.
"Good to hear, tiger. Now why don't you go let your brother know that we're leaving, okay?"
And thus Rudy would once again end up in Nick's room, to let the older boy know that Joanna was the highest authority for the time being.
Nick seemed a little irritated himself that Joanna was having this shindig, though for different reasons than Rudy. For Nick, he felt bitter that the older girl could have people over without even asking first, and that they could come over while the house was without an adult. Nick felt like he should get the same privileges as his sister, even though he was closer in age with Rudy than with Joanna.
And now, since Joanna was having these friends over, it also seemed like the duty of babysitting Rudy had been abdicated to him! It was clear that his sister wouldn't want to be bothered by the obnoxious brat, and Rudy wasn't great at playing alone, so that really just left Nick to wrangle him.
"I can't believe that mom and dad just let Joanna do whatever she wants. They're always telling me 'no' and treating her like she's the queen of England!" Nick complained as he bounced a ball against the wall.
"Yeah! And she stole the TV from me!"
Nick rolled his eyes, but didn't remark on his brother's inability to see the bigger picture. "She acts like she's the boss of us, like she's so mature or whatever. So grown up." He sneered.
"Mommy and daddy said she *was* the boss of us..."
"Maybe of you! But I'm too big to need a babysitter. We should do something to bug her and the rest of those cootie-brains." Nick put his finger on his chin to contemplate and Rudy mimicked the older boy.
"She said her friends wouldn't wanna see her brother in his undies." Rudy offered.
Nick raised an eyebrow and was about to mention that Rudy wasn't wearing real underwear, but then he got to thinking about how he could possibly use Rudy as a proxy. What else were baby brothers for? Simply strutting around in his trainers wouldn't be enough though...
Rudy turned his attention to a robot toy on the floor and he lifted his rump a little to fart. Among two boys, there wasn't shame to it, but pride in volume and smell. His snack seemed to have made him a little gassy, which looked to give Nick an idea.
"That was a good one, Rudy. You got more in the chamber?"
"Toots? I guess so. I hadda buncha raisins."
Nick got a mischievous grin on his face. "Girls *hate* farts. That's how we can ruin her little party downstairs. Just go down there in your diaper and start farting as much as ya can!"
"Notta diaper." Rudy furrowed his brow, "And what about you? Aren't you gonna come with me?"
Nick had a more developed sense of shame than his baby brother, so the thought of wearing just his underoos down there and farting in them, in front ot a bunch of older girls, it was simply too much for him. He didn't care about walking around the house in his skidmarked undies, but letting people outside his family see them? Not a chance.
"I'm like...Mission control. I stay here and do the important stuff, like a chief. You get to do the fun stuff and I'll do all the thinking."
Rudy looked a little skeptical at his brother's dodging of duties. It wasn't the first time he'd been tricked into doing the dirty work, so that Nick wouldn't get in trouble for the misdeed they were both involved with. It was more than fair for Rudy to not have the greatest faith in Nick's planning.
"Thinkin' about what? The plan doesn't need any thinking! It just needs stinking!" Rudy giggled a little at his own joke, "M'not gonna go alone. We gotta be partners, doin' the same thing."
Nick looked annoyed that Rudy was thinking for himself. He wondered if he might actually have to get his own hands a little dirty on this one, because he really wanted to take his sister down a peg, and Rudy wasn't satisfied with being the useful idiot that he usually was.
"...Okay, fine, fine. I'll come down in my underwear too." Nick seemingly acquiesced, starting to drop his shorts and revealing his superhero printed underoos. "But you go in there first, and then I'll come out and we'll trade out. Like a tag-team match on wrestling!"
Rudy looked happy to hear that and nodded in agreement. His faith in his brother's loyalty was almost assuredly misplaced though.
As planned, Rudy wandered down first. His brother followed down the stairs, but not all the way to the living room. The space was abuzz with girlish chatter and giggling over their show. Rudy gave a final look at his brother, who gave him a thumbs up, and he wandered right into the living room in nothing but his socks and his trainers.
There were four girls in total: Joanna, Melissa, Kara, and Leah. Rudy only recognized one of them aside from his sister, but performing for strangers wasn't a bother in this case.
It was Leah, a red-haired girl, that would notice the encroaching boy first. "Jo? I think your baby brother wants something."
Joanna looked over and cringed, "Rudy! I told you to go put on some clothes!"
Kara blinked in surprise, "Is he...Wearing a diaper? Or are those like, plastic briefs?"
"It's notta diaper." Rudy corrected her, completely glazing over Joanna's comment.
His sister sighed, "They're training briefs and plastic pants. He's *supposed* to be wearing shorts too. Rudy, what do you want? The pizza hasn't gotten here yet."
The little blond played innocent, "I jus' wanted to come get some juice and say hello to my favoritest big sister."
"Aww, your little bro is so sweet." Melissa cooed, though Joanna didn't at all look moved.
"Fine. Go get your juice and then go put on some clothes, okay?"
Rudy smiled and trotted off to the kitchen to feign getting his juice. His real plan was to wait a moment, for the show to come back from commercial, and then he'd jump back out there and disrupt things. If his sister was going to mess with his TV time, then he'd return the favor!
The girls went back to their conversation, and Kara started asking why her brother was in training pants, and if it was because he'd just been taking a nap or something. Before Joanna could give a proper response, the show came back on and the girls cut their chatter.
It was time.
Rudy dashed back out into the living room, already having a hard time holding back the first fart, and he jumped out in front of the TV. He turned his padded rump to the four girls and got a wry grin as he squatted down.
"Skunk attack!" The boy giggled, letting a loud toot out.
"Eww! Rudy! You're being gross and *rude*! Go do that somewhere else!" Joanna shouted at him.
He pushed a little harder and felt more farts rip and sputter out into his puffy padded seat, one after another as his cheeks pinkened and he had to squint an eye shut. "Hehe, oopsie! Mmph...Guess I'm ruinin' your show!"
His comment was clearly pointed and meant to reflect how Joanna had ruined his cartoon with her disruptive phonecall earlier.
The tank was running low now though, and Rudy just wanted to get at least one more big fart out. Still smirking and squeezing his eyes shut, he pushed as hard as he possibly could to toot again. A crackling sound suddenly came from the back of plastic pants, and a small bump was starting to form...
...And then the massive payload just completely and loudly plopped out into his training briefs. He realized it as soon as it happened and he could hear gasps from the teenage girls around him. Rudy's eyes popped back open and got wide, his mouth hung open in shock. Oh no...
"Rudy!" His sister sounded as shocked as he felt.
"Oh my god, her little brother just...Did he really just...Poop his pants?" One of the girls whispered to another.
Rudy bit his lip and tears stung at the corner of his eyes. He could feel the hot poop pressing against his backside, the heat tautly trapped by the plastic pants.
"You're in SO much trouble when mom and dad get home..."
"I thought you said that your little brother was in first grade?"
Rudy sniffled, "I din't mean to push that hard..."
The plan had gone wrong, and now Rudy would have to deal with the consequences of his rudeness.
