The Monster of Kaon (Volume 2): Chapter 10
🕑 Added 2025-09-18 06:26:37 +0000 UTCLuna-1. Cybertron’s moon.
I watched as the dozens of Cybermatter Miners dug into the surface of this moon, pulling out raw materials, the main components of my Synthetic Energon, and then synthesizing Cybermatter from the Energon created within it.
Then, the Cybermatter is automatically infused into the nanites that are also produced within the facility, giving me the final product, which is the Cybermatter Nanites that I use in my nanite projector and other systems to produce what i needed.
I created this system based on the Energon refineries from back home, which were also of my own design.
It was thanks to these towering machines that were as big as a Combiner that I managed to get enough Cybermatter Nanites for the fabrication of the Dimensional Bridge, which the Titans used to go through.
However, that is not all that I am using it for.
I turned away from the Miners and towards the other fabrication facilities that I had created for my next plan.
Two dozen Bot Fabricators. Another one of my creations, which spat out one Vehicon per minute.
Unlike the Vehicons of my home, which were actual living beings, these Vehicons were nothing more than drones with basic AI that followed my commands and could not think for themselves (something that I made sure of by removing the need for a Spark Chamber and Brain Modules in favor of standard Energon generators and Photonic Computers).
These are to be my ground troops. Easy to manufacture, expendable, and power efficient with their economy model armaments.
In the orbit of this celestial body hung another one of my creations.
The Ship Foundry.
I designed this foundry to create ships on the scale of the Worldsweepers, the Ark, and the Nemesis. Although they are currently churning out copies of Worldsweepers, what I need right now are warships.
All in all, my war efforts are looking really good right now.
Once I am done amassing enough bots and warships, I will follow the Space Bridge trail that the Quintessons left behind and eradicate those bastards from the face of the universe.
Normally, I would never do something as extreme as killing an entire species, but given what I know of Quintessons, they definitely deserve to be destroyed completely.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt my communication channel open.
“Megatronus? What is it?”
“....Maximus. You need to get down here.”
“Why?”
“We followed the D-16, Orion Pax, and their companions to a small cave. Well, it is hard to put into words, so I need you here.”
Somehow, his words made me feel an ominous feeling.
Without another thought, I transformed into my alt-form, changing my size back to match my sparklings, and shot off towards Cybertron.
Let’s see what is going on down there.

Alpha Trion watched with trepidation and hope as the two powerful bots watched him and the younglings warily.
The Prime knew that these bots were most likely not of Cybertronian origin. Given their spark signatures, which felt significantly more powerful than anything he had ever felt, and their powerful build.
However, what he did know was that they, and the three giants he had seen outside, were definitely hostile towards the Quintessons, which made them tentative allies for now.
The old bot was brought out of his thoughts when one of the young miners, D-16, whispered to himself.
“Every day. Every single day of my life has been a lie.”
Alpha Trion felt a twinge of pity for the young bot, knowing how bad it must have been for him to witness what he did.
“My God, I knew it! Deep down, I always felt something was off.”
Orion Pax paced with anger and betrayal as his words echoed in the chamber while D-16 continued staring into empty space, lost in his thoughts and emotions.
“He deceived everyone.”
With every despodent word from her companions, Elita-1’s rage only grew as she bit out her own opinion.
“Sentinel bought himself power and then put us to work paying off his debt.”
B-127, on the other hand, was still his usual chatterbox despite the loss he felt.
“I can’t believe it. Well, obviously, I can believe it, I just saw it, but I still...I can’t believe it!”
“...Sentinel lied to my face.”
“Are you lot done? Or are you going to mope some more?”
Those cold words instantly jolted the miners back to reality as they turned to either stare or glare at the two massive bots within their midst.
D-16’s enraged yellow optics that now held specks of red glared at the older bots.
“Easy for you to say. You never had to endure what we did. And who are you anyway? Why are you two, who were obviously spared by Sentinel, given that you have your cogs here? Are you his spies-”
D-16’s words were caught in his voice box as the older bot’s baleful red optics glared down at him, daring him to finish those words.
“Don’t you ever put me, my sister, and my sire in leagues with that worm. If what you feel for Sentinel can be called loathing and hatred, then what we feel, what I feel for that vermin, is so far beyond words that you cannot even comprehend it.”
Those words instantly silenced the bots.
Finally, Windblade could not see a version of her brother and his best friend sitting in dispodence like this, so she finally decided to speak.
“Our Sire is already on his way. Once he gets here, we can plan on what to do with Sentinel.”
“What is there to discuss? Don’t those giants already have him and his goons in their hands? Why not kill him then and there?”
D-16’s words came as a shock to Orion Pax, who looked at his best friend with a worried look, knowing that these recent events were slowly taking a toll on his mentality.
However, any further discussions were cut off when they heard the noise of powerful engines roaring in the air, heading straight for their cave.
The Miners and Alpha Trion were instantly on guard. However, Megatronus and Windblade calmed them down.
“Relax. It's our sire.”
No sooner did Windblade speak those words than a bot that was the same size as the two arrived in the chamber and transformed into its bipedal form.
“Greetings, I am Fortress Maximus. I am here-Oh for the life of Primus! Not you again!”
Alpha Trion’s confused gaze met Maximus’s enraged ones, as the history of this world changed for good.

Deathknight134
Beautiful. Man, the other Titans must be jealous that Maximus Fortress can alter his size freely. Heh. Though I'm not sure if they're aware he turned himself into a Titan.
