It has been a while since I last posted here about the game. I have been very sick the last month and a half, surely the most sick I have ever been in my life. But I'm feeling a lot better now. Which means it is time to shift gears and get the development of Fattening Career going on full speed again. Last weeks I have worked on the game, but it was at a snails pace compared to how things normally go.
So lets talk about the next update for Fattening Career. I have so much writing ready to go for 0.10 it is really hard to choose what gets in and what doesn't, especially considering I don't want the update to take another 2+ months to release. So I have made a bit of a list for myself with things I want to implement and what will be left for the following updates.
But first I want to acknowledge that the tall option won the poll for Vicky. I might still change her model a bit before putting her into the game fully, but she'll definitely be a tall lady.
Secondly, I have read a lot of feedback about the game. The fact that phone messages get annoying when you keep getting bombarded by them every single day, without being able to skip those. Or Daisy not having any personality going on to set her apart + her model not showing the effects of weight gain on her arms, neck, face and back. Or Luna's events being locked behind a higher Daisy stage which means that people who just want to focus on the BE route are forced to go through a large part of Daisy's events before being able to start this path. And there are way more things that keep coming up which I agree with.
Here are some of the adjustments I'll be making to improve these parts of the game.
- The phone system will no longer force itself on the screen whenever someone messages you, instead you'll have an icon pop up on your screen, which you can click on to open the phone or just ignore it if you don't want to. There are a few events that require you to do them right then, these will still force the phone open.
- Daisy will get a few new 1on1 events outside the classroom to build up her character some more. She'll also get a reworked stage 16+ model, with a new outfit and hairstyle.
- Daisy's events will shuffle around a bit to make Luna's story unlock a lot earlier on. The same will happen with the Daisy classroom event with Caroline and Vicky, this event will also appear a lot earlier to make it so those characters can be unlocked reasonably quickly.
So what will I be adding in the next update:
- New Daisy events, rework existing events and shuffle events around and Daisy stage16+ model rework.
- Maya Story continuation(Probably the biggest part of this update).
- Lyn/Leanne extra content
- Hari stage 8
- A couple new Lisa, Amber and Marie events
- Trista and Katrine improved gym repeatable events
- Roxie event
- Natalie event(s)
- Luna stage 12
I'm always open to any form of feedback, while I might not react to all of them, I do read them all.
I'll probably not post much(if anything) on my Deviantart until the update is done. So no Hanna comic pages for a while. My attention will be fully on the Fattening Career update.
Next Devblog I hope to have a date for you all.

Glad you are feeping better! Looking forward to the option of choosing some characters being able to get real big or stay smaller. Maybe if you neglect a character they lose weight and if you spend a heap of time with one they really balloon? That would be awesome...either way, what you are doing now is awesome! FYI, Katrine is the best character!

Good to see you back on your feet. Question: you have all this great stuff you want to add to the update but you also say you donβt want to take another 2 months. So when are you aiming to have the update. I know you said you would have a date for us next devlog but what is your best case scenario?
