I hope you all had some great holidays and a good start to the new year.
After the last Devblog I polled if I should be focusing more on existing characters, instead of working on the original plan I made that focused mostly on Caroline, Vicky and Maya.
This poll had a 69%(nice) vote for more stages/story for existing characters.
So I did make a few changes to the original plan to fit some content for a few existing characters.
I plan to add a new stage and new events to Lyn/Leanne and Hari.
I'll also be adding some events to Daisy and Cayenne for their current stages.
Besides these, I'm also doing some changes to feeding sequences for all the characters who have them. Together with the weekly prize option at Bunny Bites, this should create some more stuff to do/see with all the existing characters.
Those are the changes to what content I intend to add in .11, Vicky and Caroline will still get some content, but that will be less then originally planned. Maya's planned content remains unchanged.
While working on the stats menu to add the feature to see previous measurements when cycling through the stages, I felt like there was enough room in the menu to add some more stats. So I put in some formula's to calculate BMI and the body fat percentage. I also made the stomach capacity variable visible to anyone, and finally I added Breast weight and weekly lactation amount to the relevant characters. Extra stats are always a nice to have. I really like seeing weight gain quantified in raw numbers, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Originally my ways of measuring models was a bit flawed, colliders, gravity, poses and physics rate was messing with some of the data. Making it inconsistent between models and stages. I now have a highly repeatable setup to measure correctly and accurately. Due to this, you might see some stats have changed from 0.10 to 0.11, without any visual differences.
I added some images to show the new stats in the stats menu and the way I measure character models.
I really liked the idea MarkJ94 came with in 0.10, where the characters start/finish an event with text messages and images. So I'm going to add more of these to make the characters feel more alive. Some of these will be used whenever you decline a call/date, where the character tries to convince you to hang out with them next time or makes you believe you missed out. I added a selfie that Katrine sends you.
From now on I want to make devblog a bi-weekly thing. Even if there isn't too much to talk about, I want to consistently keep communication open with all of you.
I don't have a good idea yet for when 0.11 is done, I would expect somewhere in February.
After this update I'll work on TGT for a bit.

I can understand it but the little interactions between the girls as they eat at Bunny Bites or run into each other are my favorite

There will be new stages in 0.11 A 3D interactive model is sadly impossible in the game engine I use for this game.

Interactions between girls will be somewhat limited to groups. Like Lisa, Amber and Marie. Trista and Katrine. Luna and Daisy. Luna and the hospital crew and Maya and her coworkers.

Currently the stomach capacity stat is linked to the weight gain stage with a static value. I do like the idea of the stomach capacity stat being decoupled and instead influenced by things you do with the character. It might go in that direction in a future update.

Probably not. I rather put all my effort into the main game now. Maybe more dream sequence events or seasonal events will be added in the future.

This looks fantastic! Will we be seeing more weight stages in this upcoming update? A cool addition (if possible) be able to interact with a 3D model of each character and be able to slap certain parts and watch the jiggling!

I'm looking forward to the next update of maestro Blade. You have always done more than well so far. I think it's nice that you also want to communicate more about your work. In my opinion, you should only do that if you want to. It's extremely professional of you, but you don't owe it to anyone. As always, all I can say is: keep up the great work!

Dev blog hype! I think the combo of new character content plus some new stages for existing characters is a perfect balance; some best of both worlds then. Really liking the extra stats as well, number tracking is always fun. Think Maya, Leanne, and probably Vicky will be the big highlights for me. Eagerly looking forward to the update when it is ready. I love all of this but the thing that stole my attention in the first image is the weights and stages. I know all the characters gain differently and all, but... Katrine at Stage 11 is 362 pounds, and Daisy at S17 is almost 390... Just imagining Katrine at Stage 17 is making my mind wander...

Love the update, Blade! As others have said, having bi-weekly updates will be awesome! Out of curiosity, will the stomach capacity be linear or dynamic? Will there be more opportunities like the secret formula and upgraded meals to push the girls further? The anticipation is strong π€©
