In this devblog I want to explain what I have been working on, how the next update is progressing and what is planned.
I have been hard at work doing all the visuals for the next update. Most of it is focused on making the new events for Cayenne, Hari and Luna. Besides the fact that Luna's stage 11 event is going to be the longest event ever and thus takes a long time to make, the other events are going at a steady pace.
Besides the events I'm also working on setting up a ever evolving repeatable scene for Cayenne and Hari. These are going to be a bit different then those of the other characters. For example, Cayenne is the one who chooses what she wants to do with you. Hari on the other hand will mostly be accessible only during your time at the university.
I have also put in a few extra's for a lot of other characters who aren't the focus of the next update. You'll get to see some new animations for the gym for both Katrine and Trista, some special stream with different outfits from Lyn and Leanne, a new meeting spot with Lisa and some other things that I do not want to spoil yet.
In terms of visuals, I have put in some work to make a preset that I can load onto a static pose which transforms it into an idle animation. I want to use these idle animations in between still images in event where there is a lot of talking and not much happening besides the talking.
Now I already talked about this last devblog but it is now a certainty, this update will not feature Vicky and Caroline yet, they need some extra time in the oven before they are ready to put into the game. This also means that the classroom sections will not be fully improved to its planned state, there will still be some repetitiveness here. Instead I'll put a lot of work into creating a lot more Cayenne content.
The last poll about fat faces has been a topic of a lot of discussion. The result are showing me that this is a lot more nuanced then just a yes or no question and the comments have explained a lot of the reasons why this isn't such an easy topic to poll. First, I want to thank all of you in participating in the polls and commenting on them, this helps a lot with making decisions.
Second, I'll probably make another(or a couple more) poll about fat faces to gather some more specific feedback on this topic.
Besides working on the game directly, I have worked on finding creators of clothing, textures, animations and assets that I can use inside the game(so you might see some more variety soon). I put out a steam demo of the game to gather wishlists and hopefully attract to people to the game that otherwise wouldn't find it. And I wrote some documentation for how the systems in the game work and what all the variables are for.
In terms of planning, I do not yet have a release date for the next update, but it would be save to assume that we are still at least a month away from the update being done.

Asking cause Iβm curious: Has the Lyn/Leanne Content scrapped for 0.08?

Currently saves are incompatible between big updates. So sadly, you'll have to start over when the next update is finished.

Iβm pretty sure Blade has stated that he does not intend to make the librarian into a foreground character, which means no weight gain stages and no larger role than she plays now.

Will have a librarian some wg stages too? She's been part of the game for so long. And some more interaction, maybe even events, with Maya, please.
