Update! *Summer Figure Study Invitational
🕑 Added 2022-08-05 20:24:15 +0000 UTCWe're just gone halfway through this series!
Just as a recap: for my usual 3x5 Friday (see #3x5Friday) quick warm up figure gesture sketches, I have given it a summer twist with this Summer Figure Study Invitational theme (see #summerfigurestudyinvitational).
Here and on Instagram, I'm opening up my warm up practice to you with a short summer long series, where I look at various other figurative artists who inspire me, and reinterpret their work.
Mondays, here and on IG, I share a post with the reference that I will be using that week. Wednesday, I share on IG a short reel time-lapse video of my process making my sketch.
On Friday, I share a post here, only for patrons, of the final art of my study, as part of my 3x5 Friday sketchbook series.
If you want to join in, look for my reference shared post on Mondays, here or on IG, so you know where to find it and what we're working from.
You can layout your practice as I do, by the Friday due-date, or you can get to it whenever you like that week, or over a longer period of time.
If you would like to share your practice with me in return, tag me @caya_art on Instagram using the hashtag #summerfigurestudyinvitational on your image post, so that I can see it!
Or, if you'd rather be more private, you are welcome to email me: mairintaj@mairintajcaya.com.
I'd love to see what your version is!
I wish we could share here, on Patreon, but there doesn't seem to be a community page option for back and forth.
If you are more well practiced at the Patreon platform, and you know otherwise, please let me know!
#summerfigurestudyinvitational will continue through the month of August, so we have FOUR more fresh references to be posted and worked from.
If you have questions, I'll meet you in the comments!
