The Sharperer Image in 2023
🕑 Added 2022-12-07 01:53:51 +0000 UTCAlthough there is already a vast amount of back catalog content ready to go on the relaunched Sharperer Image project I've been spending some time working on new products in the same style as the originals that are still going up. A valley of 10 years lies between these two eras of the project so I am flexing my muscles a bit to see if I can get back into the same "tone" as the originals.
I was able to locate the original project files from 2011/2012 and scale them up 2x so they will have sharper text without any artifacting (resulting from AI scaling the old images up to fit today's bigger 4K monitors). I also found the original cache of product photos I ripped from Skymall's old website so I can go right back to clowning on all this dumb stuff that was legitimately being sold for real money.
One of the best things about The Sharperer Image is guessing what the *actual* products used to be. Sometimes it's simple such as the case with the big ass Ten Commandments statue seen here, but what about that chunk of plastic? Is it a back massager? A workout device? Who knows!
Expect to see a seamless transition into these products (and more) in 2023 when the back catalog of content is exhausted.
