Streams for January 2024

It's a new month and also a whole new year.
Do you remember that part about me suddenly having more free time and a better work life balance and that the next video was about to be complete? Well my brain apparently decided that that was a great time to decompress all the stress I had felt for the last few months in a few weeks time.
This ended up with me having absolutely no energy, and if you’re worried about me focusing too much on my office job, no worries because I didn’t have the energy for that either. For the last few weeks I’ve been out of commission entirely. Apparently, despite my adhd meds working wonders for my focus, that does nothing to help me manage stress. Instead of completing my tasks in a better time, I just find new tasks to do. So my workflow is drastically improved but I keep creating more work for myself which just ends me up in being more stressed than ever.
So the last month I’ve been burnt out, resting and trying to restructure a semblance of scheduling. My next video is close to being done however, but long term I think a major change is needed in order for me to balance my life properly. Having two different careers at the same time feeds my ego but also keeps burning me out. I absolutely hate it when I don't have a video when I planned to but I've been in this situation a few times before and I gotta, on the advice of many of you Patrons by the way, focus on my mental health.
Even if it sucks, lol.
I’ll come with more updates regarding those "life changes" in a few days or weeks depending on how those significant life changes actually materialize but the point of this big rambling is that 2024 is the year I try desperately to shift my focus, entirely, back to making Youtube videos which is the thing I want to do more than anything else.
Part of that is having streams though! And while I did not have the mental energy to do streams in December, and I’m very sorry about that, we are starting off as regular again this month and this year.
Things might continue to be a little shaky as those life changes I mention happen, and you’ll see why and know more when they do, but here’s to hoping that we can stay on track until we find that new balance. But with that I’ve rambled enough about my mental health and excuses as to why I’ve been so inactive lately. Let’s instead talk about the stream times!
The streams are as follows:
- Saturday, January 20, 20.00 CET - Ask Me Anything Stream for 5 Dollar patrons and up.
- Sunday February 4, 21.00 CET - End Of The Month Hangout Stream for the public.

Edit, as always it seems, because of mental health I'm gonna have to move the react stream from today until monday. I'm super sorry but it wouldn't be much of a react stream anyway if I just sat there tired haha.
Second wdit: sorry folks, I guess my mental illness Is still too strong. I'll figure out a new time for streams a later date. I'm so sorry.
I hope I see you at one of the streams, and I truly hope to see you more, significantly more, this year than ever before. Edit: as god damn always, my immune system fucks with me just as I wanna stream. So one stream is moved to February, extremely sorry again.

A lot of why I watch you is oc the sharp analysis, but also the empathy/kindness that pervades it. Everything you stated here sounds reasonable, except calling it "excuses", lol. It's just your psyche working out how to be you... and I get that there will be conflict and deep desire to be productive, and those are also good energies... but it's the sum total, the choir of "Mia-ness" that's the real treasure... so, ya know, keep being kind to yourself... you model that for your audience/patrons too, so even if it's not *content* posts like this are valuable and communicate important things! (imho).

Welcome back, Mia! Sorry you've been going through so much ick, but super glad to hear you're otherwise ok. It's been so long since you posted, I was starting to get worried. 😥 Sounds like there's been a lot to adjust to, though, so don't go adding my anxiety to your stress heap.
