Lowpoly Avatar Tutorial Pt. 1: Head & Torso

This is part 1 of my lowpoly avatar tutorial series, I intended to have one video for the entire modeling process but it would have been over 2 hours long. So I'm going to be splitting it up into two parts for now, let me know if you guys prefer longer or shorter tutorial videos!!
Anyway, this was my first tutorial really ever so I hope you enjoy, I'm kind of nervous about how it turned out.
(Edit: I'm making the first episode free to the public going forward as a sample.)

So I was just going back on this video again (Re-enforced learning and all that jazz) and something happened that didn't before. When I created the torso It ended up parenting it to the head because I was in edit mode. You can fix this by selecting both the objects with "L" in edit mode, right clicking and separating them. Alternatively you can do it right in the first place by making sure new objects are created in Object mode. ^^ hope this helps anyone else that might stumble across this issue.

Thanks for the feedback!! Yeah eventually they will make their way to youtube, haven't decided how long to keep them exclusive to patreon yet. I'll be sure to mark chapters on the video, great idea!

So to answer your question. I like longer videos but have no issue with the shorter vids. If you do longer vids and post them to youtube down the line be sure to split them into chapters. It does help. Besides that off to a good start dude! Can't wait to learn more!
