You may have seen Xela's latest tweet showing off the newly finished Sliquifier remodel, but if you haven't then be sure to check it out for some high quality close up shots of the gun.
I of course immediately got to work on rigging it afterwards, as I was very eager to see how this thing looked in-game. This model was a pretty easy rig for the most part, with the only tricky part being the hoses, which gave me the same trouble as the Trample Steam's bellows part...
You can see some comparison shots both in APE and in-game, and I'd say it's quite the awesome upgrade, even in my test map with no lighting.
Next, I'll finally be scripting this thing and redoing all of the FX and sounds :)

Yeah, I'm sure you know the bo2 version stops making puddles in the later rounds. That's awesome to hear that we can use it past 100!

The base Sliquifier will be the nerfed version, capping out at round 100. The papped Sliquifier will be the pre-patch version, with infinite damage. I'll make it 1:1 with Bo2, so if there's some max number of puddles in Bo2, then I'll have it like that too.
