September 19, 2018: Progress Report
🕑 Added 2018-09-20 03:42:37 +0000 UTC Hello everyone! Whew, since the last progress report quite a lot has happened over here! If you weren't following the news, Meltys Quest became the first eroge on Steam to become completely uncensored on September 11st, a day right after the last progress report. While making it uncensored on Steam, I also worked to bring the Japanese, Linux and Mac versions of Meltys Quest onto Steam. A big thanks to all the volunteer beta testers who helped make the Linux and Mac version of Meltys Quest into a reality.In between testing the various versions, I also finished the 3rd skill tree for Pina in our next game, Pina and the Hero's Amazing Tale. Without all this Meltys Quest stuff going, the 3rd skill tree would've probably took 2~3 days to complete. Why does a single skill tree take to long to implement you may be wondering? Mostly because at least for this tree, it's not a simple 'spend skill point to get a new simple skill' kind of deal going on here. Next I'm going to begin the framework for Pina's 'Special' trees that I talked about in the last Progress Report. However the special trees unlike the 3 trees I've done so far won't be something that'll be finished until the game is completely finished. Regardless, look forward to the next progress report!
