Some ice cream seemed like the best way to wind down after such a long, eventful Saturday. Including several social calls.
Emilie took a few attempts to stab a tablespoon into the carton with the zeal of a psychopath. It was just a little too frozen yet, but per usual, she was just a teensy bit impatient.
Speaking of things being frozen, she didn’t understand the cold shoulder she had been receiving from her partner since about midday. She wanted to chalk it up almost as just social exhaustion. Fatigued by having to deal with so many people all day. But for her money, nothing could warm things over quite like a nice, cold snack. Just the two of them. And once her spoon found purchase, she was finally able to crank out way too big a spoonful. Well, too big for most people anyhow. But going big with it was all part of her cunning plan. Because then, she deviously topped it off with a hit of whipped cream. It was guaranteed to melt Sasha’s icy facade.
“Open wide,” she instructed with the usual devilish, sing-song glint she always had whenever it involved food. Or feeding.
"Hold up!" Sasha squinted, with their round face looking a bit miffed. While they were seated in their usual spot upon the kitchen counter, waiting to be fed, their disappointed expression told another story entirely. “We need to talk.”
The words froze Em in place, responding, at first, with nothing beyond a vacant blink. Maybe this wasn’t just simple social fatigue. With the crankiness she had perceived from Sasha being more standoffishness. Ever since the party this afternoon. Come to think of it, they had put on a big grin when speaking with others. But to Em, Sasha was not their usual, happy-go-lucky self. It seemed as though something was weighing pretty heavily on their mind. But this was their nightly feeding session. A time for gorging. For stuffing. To put Sasha into a deep peaceful food coma for the night. Not ‘talking.’ And Em tried to lighten the mood, in the only, brash way she knew how.
“Psssht, this is RR-306 requesting permission to land,” Em continued, pinching her nose to do the pilot's radio voice. It was with her usual pushiness, again, whenever food was involved. Steamrolling Sasha. Almost as if pretending she didn’t hear her partner.
But Sasha wasn’t having it. This time, things were different. They didn’t seem to be in the mood for “jokes.”
They extended their plump index finger upwards between the two of them, as if to call a point of order. They held it there for a moment, frozen. Their big, bright eyes staring intently from behind their thick framed glasses, now that they had taken their contacts out & were very much in for the evening.
Only once they were totally certain they had captured the entirety of Em's attention, something of a feat, did they finally resume speaking. And slowly the finger craned down into a point towards Em.
"Let's make one thing perfectly clear, here! Okay?" Em’s eagerness to move on did nothing but cause the sternness in Sasha’s voice to grow, intensify further. Both in volume & the direct way of talking that the usually mousy enby reserved for certain occasions. They only broke it out quite infrequently, for matters of great importance. And even then, only behind closed doors, with those they felt the most comfortable around. And even then? Rarely was it ever this firm a tone. This seemingly pissed off.
And yet still? Em had a lot of trouble taking it seriously. So it was all undercut by 'the airplane,' a spoonful of nondairy Rocky Road. With whipped cream on top. Em only imagined it in a more dire situation, demanding urgency.
"But we're comin' in hot! Oh God! Our engines!! May day! May day!" Em chortled, pinching her nose to do the pilot's radio voice again, as the unwieldy spoonful wobbled recklessly above the counter, coming ever closer to Sasha. Sasha, however, was no longer having it. Or at least was trying to seem like they weren't. Not right now.
"I'm serious!" Sasha said gravely, staving away that smirk of theirs, & clumsily trying to bat away Em's hand. Doing so almost dripped a fleck of melty ice cream on their new XXXL ice blue hoodie. Which would've been tragic on both levels of it finally being a brand new hoodie that actually fit her, AND precious wasted ounces of delicious ice cream.
"Fine." Em finally resigned with a sigh, rolling her eyes. She dropped the spoon back into the half-gone pint with a soft plunk. "What?! What is it? What needs to ruin the sanctity of both our quality time together & air travel?" She swayed her own wide hips, leaning onto her back foot, away from where Sasha was seated on their sturdy kitchen counter. Enough room to gesticulate. Which was good, because Sasha once again began to wag their finger.
"At NO point-" Sasha daggered, dragging out their words for even more emphasis. Em was distracted by the parts of their upper arm rippling & jiggling under their hoodie as they wagged their finger vigorously. "... Did YOU, whatsoever-" Em got that were being stern, but they really had to speed this up. The pint in Em's hand was quickly becoming soup. But then the words finally caught her, reeling in her ADHD. "... TRICK ME into putting on any of this weight!" Sasha's hands went down to give their expansive, wobbly belly a bit of a wiggle to punctuate their statement.
"What?" Em scoffed after a brief moment. "Hu’what does any of THAT matter?" In the back of her head, she had a twinge of guilt, thinking she knew what Sasha was driving at. But at the same time, to her, it still didn’t register as that big a deal.
"I- I just…” It was as if Sasha was caught a little off guard by Em’s flippancy, but she interjected quickly, speaking over Em's last few syllables. “I want that to be known! Okay?!" Sasha asked, demanding acknowledgement. When Em still looked at them, vacant & puzzled, Sasha continued, squinting her lightly colored eyes shrewdly recalling the precise words. "No bragging about how all this, was somehow YOUR 'grand plan!' None of how you 'lit the fuse' to make me'EXPLODE!"
Em smirked awkwardly, reminded of her own words.
She turned her attention back to the spoon, wiggling it around in the container to collect more of a mushy spoonful. No having to stab at it anymore at least. She knew precisely what Sasha was driving at, but, in her annoying, bullish way, she insisted on playing it coy.
"Okay so… I don't know where this is coming from..." Em attempted smugly, as she lifted the spoon again & started to bring it to Sasha's lips. “But we’re losing ice cream here.”
Sasha could see in her eyes that she was blatantly attempting to gaslight them as a tease. Begrudgingly, Sasha granted the airplane clearance to land this time, but didn't stop staring daggers.
"Don't play dumb!" Sasha said, smacking the rocky road against their tongue for a moment, letting Em stew in the nasty look they were shooting her way. "I heard you & Rona talking earlier. At the party. Every word of it!"
"Oh." Em smirked deviously. "That..." As if she had somehow forgot.
“It was humiliating! You were bragging about how you were the one that fattened me up! Like I hadn’t played an active role in all this myself!” Sasha pounded the counter with her fleshy palm, taxing it further beneath her bulk. “You! And all you! Like… like I was some kind of Christmas goose…?!”
“The term is gava-”
“You were talking about me as if I was some kind of gormless rube falling into some kind of trap of yours!” Sasha huffed. Their insistent tone was clearly wearing Em down, who was becoming increasingly avoidant now that she was getting called out. “As if I was totally unaware of the situation I was in, rather than a very willing participant. I don’t like being talked about like I’m stupid! Especially when we were both so upfront about this whole process! About- how it was our special thing.”
“Okay!” Em finally broke, the cocky, pushy facade finally fading. “Okay. You’re right. You’re right. I… I just didn’t think of it like-” Her usually impenetrable, cocky shell was shattered, as a look of regret started to flash on her face. “I’m… I didn’t mean… It wasn’t to make you sound dumb though, alright? I just… It wasn’t like that at all. I was just… It was all a goof.”
“You were showing off. At my expense,” Sasha reinforced, having finally broken through. “Making me look stupid in front of your friends. Even after all I’ve gained for you!”
“Sash!” Em huffed, trying to muster some kind of an argument. But for once in her life, Em had nothing. She fell silent, if even just for a few seconds, twirling the spoon around in the melty ice cream carton.
All told, it was a gain of somewhere in the neighborhood of one-hundred & seventy-five pounds at this point. All soft, jiggling fat. Double the weight Sasha had started at, & then a little, for good measure. Up until this, the couple’s one major regret was not celebrating the first hundred pounds of gain as some sort of milestone. And when they were sure to do it for the one-fifty mark, just a little over a month ago, the following twenty-five pounds seemed to almost just appear on Sasha almost overnight, with their expansion only growing all the more rapid recently. With no signs of slowing. To Em, Sasha was one in a million. And as domineering as she might’ve been, the thought of upsetting the delicate balance of that trust started to really weigh on her.
“Yes. Me talking like that? I was being a show-off. To my friend,” She admitted. “Rona’s my old roommate! She’s practically known me forever. Hell, she put on about twenty-five pounds just sharing an apartment with me for a little over a year, Munchies-by-Proxy. She knows how I am. That I like my significant others, y’know… on the bigger side. And well… she noticed your astounding progress.”
“How could she miss it, really?” Sasha purred softly, tooting their own horn.
“Yeah, well- to be fair, Rona was the one that accused me of being the one to overfeed you first.” Em admitted. “And it was just easier to play into it. So I ran with it. All as a bit of a lark. The whole thing was almost more of like an inside joke between me & her.”
“Yeah well this whole gaining thing is an intimate thing between you & me, your partner,” Sasha was sure to remind, expending a bit more of that residual firmness. Em swallowed her pride after a long sigh.
“When you’re right, you’re right…” She exhaled.
“I just-“ Sasha stammered, trying to find the right words to articulate it. “Look. I appreciate you have friends & they’ve known you for a bit longer than I have, & that you have these kinds of jokes.” They offered as a small bit of understanding. “But we talked about all this. I happily let you feed me. And feed me. And keep feeding me. I was so, so excited to eat it all &… thicken up for you! But also, for me too, okay? And I just don’t like- no! Frankly? I really hate this idea that I was somehow tricked into all this!” They said, clapping their hands against their soft, wobbly exposed thighs. “It’s almost as if I’m the butt of the joke, you pretending I didn’t know I was pigging out for you. That I was somehow completely oblivious to how chubby I was getting until I suddenly started getting winded going up a flight of stairs. Or bursting out of every item of my goddamn wardrobe!”
“You know just how much I appreciate it. And how much I appreciate you!” Em insisted. “You’re amazing.”
“And I just want you to know how I didn’t feel very appreciated in that moment, when you’re showing off, okay?” Sasha maintained, her expression lightening. They leaned back, their belly jutting out, covering their lap. “It bugs me, this notion that I could be so easily tricked into something, especially when I very much wanted it too.” Em sighed again.
“Okay,” Em acknowledged softly. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for that. You’re not stupid. You weren’t tricked. I just got incredibly lucky… & found the glutton of my dreams.” The slow burn resulting in that devilish glint returning to her eye again.
“Damn right you did.” Sasha asserted, exuding confidence. And a bit more content now, having felt heard. They gently tipped their head back, opened their mouth & jutted a bit of tongue out, as if to silently ask for another spoon of ice cream.
“But c’mon though,” Em needled. “You used to be sooo skinny! Even when you decided to let me put even just a little weight on you-“ Her devilish little smirk grew bolder as her hand caressed Sasha’s chunky thigh. It followed their curves, tracing Sasha’s silhouette, & spreading her fingers into the side of Sasha’s soft belly flesh. “Did you ever really expect it to ever be this much?” Sasha’s round cheeks turned red.
“Maybe not right away.” Sasha admitted, looking off to the side. “Like not the first night agreed to it,” They craned their neck back to look at Em with an assured smirk of their own. They dipped a finger in the ice cream carton. The contents were still cold, but thoroughly melty now, allowing them to pull out a cream coated finger they softly sucked clean. “But actually? I figured out pretty quick what I was in for. What you had in store for me. Almost immediately,” They asserted confidently. “Just going off how crazy you started to go right away. And see? That’s what I mean.” They chuckled, after a sudden epiphany. “Do you really think I’d really have this much to show for if it was just you ‘tricking me?’ I mean you’re pushy as fuck, but you’re not THIS pushy.”
“Oh?” Em asked, feeling challenged. Goaded into action, she began to try & swirl the spoon in the carton, trying to gather a large lump of melty ice cream somewhere in the liquifying soup. “You really think s-“
An unimpressed Sasha snatched the carton out of Em’s hand, leaving her with nothing but one last spoon of ice cream soup. They brought the carton to their plump lips, leaned their head back & started chugging, gulp after gulp. Now it was Em’s turn to blush a deep red, as she could swear she could almost hear the ounces getting added to her partner’s already thick frame with each swallow. For a split second, she almost happily felt inadequate when it came to meeting Sasha’s expectations when it came to being fed. But that was a challenge she was willing to rise to.
“Next time you see Rona?” Sasha directed sternly with a breathy tone, finally coming up for air. “You’re to tell her that you’re MY servant. Have been all along. That all this?” Their hands delicately accentuating their round figure. “Was MY bidding.”
“Y-you’ve got it,” Em weakly stammered while in awe as Sasha downed the rest of the carton in another few gulps.
“Now be a dear & fetch me the next carton,” Sasha instructed. Em looked a bit perplexed. “This one ended up being more of a milkshake. And I was expecting ice cream proper.”

A scrap of something I started writing from a while ago, where I wanted to do something about a meaningful, but relatively low stakes conflict in a feedee/feeder relationship I don’t think I’ve seen before. Feedees deserve all the love & respect, I’m Team Sasha all the way, though in practice, I probably have more of Em’s tendencies than I’d like to admit.
I wanted to flesh out characters a little more here, so it isn’t as vague as I typically go in terms of gender & the relationship in question. But figured I’d still keep it pretty inclusive with Sasha being nonbinary. I personally am attracted to more femme-presenting folks so if I messed up & have an errant she or her in there that wrecks things I might’ve missed, sorry. I’m old, but try my best. As always, at the end of the day, please apply whatever headcanon you want so you have an optimal reading experience.
After years of losing story scraps & things on corrupted or lost thumb drives, I’ve spent the last few years starting drafts directly in Patreon on here. But now I have so many clogging up my drafts folder. So this year, I intend to try tackling more of these, perhaps combining a few ideas & turning them into larger stories rather than just vignettes or whatever.
Oh, & I do want to revisit the notion of “Munchies-By-Proxy” at some point down the line.

I really, *really* like this. The descriptions of Sasha's figure and gluttony were great, but I loved how you approached this topic and had Sasha assert their dominance here.
