To me the implications of the word "quaint" make Rhys' prize task entry just not funny. If they'd gone with the angle of homophobia being quaint, sure, that'd totally deserve 5 points. It's not that I think quaint is an insult but it does to me implicitly refer to something pertaining to style, or fashions of the time, and so on, which just doesn't make sense to apply to someone's sexuality. I'm not a breeder, but somebody's got to do it -- if heterosexuality ever goes out of style we're pretty fucked as a species.
