The pop up book sequence is one of those scenes where the pure cinema of it makes me cry. It’s such a beautifully constructed and directed piece of work. This whole movie is like in my top 5 of all time anyway, it’s absolutely perfect to me. It even bypasses the working class chip on my shoulder that makes me resistant to middle class characters, I just love them all.
